In what way do you "cheat" if any?

I use the respec mod. I usually don't mess around with companions too much. (Morrigan) comes with a couple of worthless (entropy spells) IMO, so I give her a couple more (hexes) or something instead. I use that mod that gives you many more options in tactics, but not the 25 automatic slots one. although OP has a decent point about this mod. I'd be fine with just upping the default starting number of slots.

This is hilarious. I've beaten so many near impossible encounters this way. The werewolf lair mobs you with 20+ high level/elite werewolves from all directions if you chose to fight white fangs door guards. I couldn't even beat that on easy with a party of level 22 characters, repeatedly spamming mass paralysis, nightmare, and CoCs.
But if you pull back up the stairs, close the door, and cast Storm of the Century...well, goodbye 20+ elite werewolves.
The Ser Cauth fight with mage + archers was also achievable this way.
I've done both of those fights in the room on hard. granted, it was on a mage, but it's doable w/o Storm cheating, for lack of a better way to put it.

How is pulling a cheat in an game? I mean are we really supposed to play like a bunch of boneheads and charge head first into a room of death? I mean if you enjoy Diablo 2 style rush and chug strategy go for it. Just don't call people using common sense cheaters or exploiters.
Alright, no need to get offended.
However, I do think I should clarify one thing, which is my interpretation of the difference between luring and pulling. Pulling means to pull an entire group somewhere, but luring means to pull individual, or small groups of mobs out of an encounter without aggroing the others. The latter is definitely an AI exploit and my point is that some may consider that sort of thing cheating. Although, as Gill Kaiser pointed out above, most consider it a time honoured tradition of RPGs.

Now if you want a REAL in game cheat or exploit. How about being able to AoE an entire room from another room behind a wall without getting agro? That's certainly not how encounters were designed but if your Q&A didn't catch that or if you were to lazy to code in a fix then it's the designers fault not the players.
Yeah, I was pretty surprised when I first heard about that. It's probably something I couldn't bring myself to do seriously though. I might try just for fun, but I'd probably reload and do the fight for real after. If an encounter is too hard I'd rather drop the difficutly down. That's just me though.

- I changed the stats of the merchant in the camp so he gives me better prices and sells me for less ( I call it rent)
- When I play my Human noble I am going to add the mod to get dog as a fifth party member
- I have a mage in the party

It's just hard to see things like this as a "cheat" per say when games in the 90's and specifically early MMO's required you to pull groups at a time and break them up for a party to handle. I think the pure Crowd Control class is what is missing from RPG's today. The standard of todays group types is the Tank/Healer and tons of DPS. Not long ago though players wouldn't think to tackle encounters without a CC class of some type.
