I am trying out all the different origns to see what happens.

I've looked at the guides and the map of the cave shows a locked chest past the mirror in the cave the first time you go there. I tried to get there, but Tamlen goes up to the mirror before I can get to the chest.

Has anyone gotten to the chest yet and if so how?

You will go back to the cave to search for Tamlen, you can get it then.

There's actually also a sarcophagus [sp?] in there too... what I do is while Tamlen is fighting the bear-thing I run off to loot everything. works like a charm. Usually he doesnt die, if you switch his weapons from his pre-equipped bow to his pre-equipped sword/shield.

If you wait till when you come back... I've never gotten a chance to look around cause Duncan wont let me lol.

But so far, for me anyway, the only way I've managed to loot that mirror chamber was while fighting the bear... thing.

Tell Duncan you want to look around, problem solved. I always do that, and the back cave with the skeletons (more exp!) before I leave the second time.

Duncan won't let you look around? Huh, that's weird. All I had to do was say I wanted to and he let my character go ahead.
