You seem to confuse Dead or Alive with DragonAge, which has the acronym of DA.

To the matter at hand:
Since there is no epilogue save for awakening it is is highly doubtful that you will be able to settle any score with Morrigan, if she even manages to make it into DA2.
And even if she will be present, you won't be able to speak to her in your former character.

My guess is that Morrigan's son will have a central role in DA2

I don't think that her child will have major role. Simply because Morrigans ritual was optional. Many people did not choose it.

In DA2 the story can simply say that Morrigan had a child with 'a' Grey Warden and not be specific about it. If your character was the father in DAO you get few extra dialog lines.

I'd be very happy if DA2 turned out to be a direct sequel.

You dont have to sleep with her at the end to get a child.
If you say no she can still have a child other warden take the final blow  but have been with her before that.

If they dont carry on the DOA story line with the child I think alot of people will be disapointed with bioware you guys have got a good thing going on keeps us hooked  ( not been a decent RPG since KOTOR  you guys do a better job then Square ENIX).

And to be honest alot of people would of chosen to sleep with both girls in the game and keep both going to the end also.  also marrying the queen anora too as a  male .

You can change the ending each time you play the game  i can count 4 endings so far as a noble male.  2 differnt endings with the king and queen and 2 so far with you marrying Anora.

As for DOA-Awake  there are more endings and it leaves alot to keep you guessing
I wanna know what happens over the next 30 years of my Warden  i worked damn hard and i wanna see him save more.  ( like with mass effect 2  i worked hard and wanna see the ending)

I think we all agree we spend alot of time on our warden and for once we'd love a game DOA 2 to carry on hell be good to see you have to fight your own child to save the world or spare him and let it burn
now that something i think will require a pause during game play .That why we love RPGS

Hell id love to see how many people argee with me and have had the idea of the next DOA game in there heads

People it is DAO not DOA. There is a lot of reasons why Morrigan and other love interests would come back in DA2, simply that BioWare would let your romance continue and as a expansion is too short for any romance side plot to be fleshed out in that amount of time, an sequel would be a perfect place to place it in. Of course the only old member that would return in any game play would be Morrigan as all the other members would be in the fade but they would come in the game in longer cameos. If you decided to travel the great beyond, BioWare can make up a way for your survival as it is their game and they can make changes to the story if they wanted to.

Even if you tell Morrigan to ****** off she still somehow ends up pregnant at the end of the game. Unless that was just a bug.....

Also I doubt DA 2 will come out less than two years after the first.

People, you are not going to play Morrigan's kid because the timeline of DA2 is close to the blight (10 year span with the blight somewhere in-between). That means the OGB will not exist or will be around 5-10 years old when you would meet him/her.

We will not meet Morrigan, but I think Flemeth has been confirmed to be a character in the sequel. Morrigan traveled west while the Free Marshes lie east. The story also takes place during Origins, and ten years after which means Morrigan would've had to traveled to the Frostback Mountains, Orlais, Nevarra, and then to the Free Marshes. I am also assuming that the developers were truthful when they said where she was heading in the epilogue.

EDIT - just realised *possible spoilers* below - though hasn't everyone already played this game? And isn't a thread dedicated to the possibilities of DAO2 impossible without them?

Damnit Bioware, I've sired a God and selfsame help me I'm going to sire the next king on Anora whether she likes it or not - and both the sons of ****es are going to be locked in immortal and mortal combat and I'm going to be stuck in the middle trying to win Morrigan back. This is Gone With The Wind on steroids for the 21st Centrury and you are going to give me my fix!

IDK, I think Morrigan could be an interesting character as a Dead or Alive series cameo...

I would love to see Morrigan in DAO 2, but i am not holding my breath. Consider the other Bioware RPG heroines -- Bastilla in KotoR 1 -- she had no chance to make amends. And then there was Aribeth in Neverwinter Nights 1. She came back as a ghost in expansion pack Hordes of the Underdark, if i recall. NWN 2 heroines (squeaky Neeshka and creepy elf woman -- sorry i forgot her name) were so dismal i am glad they never returned in the expansions. So now it is Morrigan. Will she return in DAO 2 to meet her warden (i wore her ring even thru Awkening)? Or will she be dumped into the too-hard basket? I hope not, but i think yes.

It truly boggles the mind why people do not want to bed Morrigan, the little minx...
