As Awakening was downloading to my 360, I idly started reading the forums and noticed all sorts of people rioting about the bugginess and broken quests abounding within the campaign I was about to undertake. Stiff upper lip and all, I chose to lower my expectations a little and accept the situation, rather than lament the money I had just spent for unrefundable DLC.

I just finished the full campaign this morning without having seen any broken quests, and I was pretty thorough with the side missions. I didn't finish Oghren's or Velanna's personal quests, but I did everything else.

I guess I'm wondering if one version is buggier than the other. Unfortunately, no one really says what version they have when they mention bugs, so I wonder just how different the versions are from each other. Was my experience a lucky one?

Not to say I didn't see bugs. I saw the floating Goon in Amaranthine like a lot of you did. Also, whenever I had a random encounter in the desert valley, my maps (both mini- and menu) completely blacked out. But other than that, nothing seemed out of the ordinary. I'm starting a new play through, because I'm interested to see if that was a unique, uncritically buggy instance.

i'm the same way, and I had the buggy random encounter map that you had as well. But insofar as I can tell, the only bugs I've encountered on the 360 are mainly graphical and Sigrun's quest being messed up. Other than that it seems to work fine

If I remember correctly the only time I had a blackout was when I was talking to the Architect and it went black but I could still pick dialogue lol. But that was for just for 1 conversation topic. I'll have to remember where that exactly is. But as far as any other bugs I never really had any except towards the end and I'm on PC.
It would be a good idea that people who have these bugs might want to put what system their playing on so Bioware knows which systems needs more patch work.

Edit:

I was just looking at the Wiki, and I forgot about this one: "The gloves, breastplate, and boots of the Sentinel armor set will look like the Warden Commander armor if your DA:O game had the Wardens' Keep DLC installed. The helmet will appear as it was intended. (If you play as a human, if not then you get the Sentinel graphic, on dwarf, and elf."

I remember seeing that and thought it was strange, but I didn't know what the Sentinel armor was supposed to look like, so I wasn't sure.

I saw that one too. I think it was at the conversation where the Architect is trying to convince you to team up. So that one is a cross-platform bug too.
