I am pretty technically stupid, and I just upgraded my PC to Windows 7, and reinstalled Dragon Age. I managed to install it, DA Awakening, and the various extras from the deluxe edition. Having beaten the game several times, I feel safe in enabling the console (thus avoiding the temptation to cheat before beating the game fair and square). Anyhow...I REALLY don't know how to enable the console in Windows 7. I know that in XP (my previous OS, I was able to just append a bit of text on to the end of the command line in the shortcut. In 7, though, that shortcut really isn't there. Can someone please help me in getting this going. Thank you. Oh, I have downloaded the toolset already too, thanks -- the console has stuff that the toolset doesn't. Thanks again.

Navigate to the directory where the the dragon age executable is, such as c:\\program files\\dragon age\\bin_ship. Right click on daorigins.exe and select Create Shortcut. Put the shortcut that is created on your desktop, and then you'll be able to edit it to add the -enabledevelopersconsole.
