Hey guys the search function isn't working for me and I've checked 12 pages of backlog to no avail!

What are the outcomes of all the possible demon/connor paths?

Well, if you have done the Circle of Magi quest line and freed the mage circle, you can go there to ask for the first enchanter's help in exorcism. Then you can go into the fade and not sacrifice the boy or his mom.

If you agree with Jowan, you can sacrifice the mom to save the kid (you will have to go in fade).

If you just want it quick, you can just go and kill the kid.

Off the top of my head, can't tell any other outcomes yet.

You can go to the Mage's Tower, save them, then bring the first enchanter to help you save the boy by sending you (if you're a mage) or another mage into the fade without killing anyone.

At that point, you can either make a deal with the demon inside to leave for now, but come back later or kill the demon.

But then you have to choose who to send (so many choices ahaha), which may have reprecussions. I sent Jowan so maybe when I reawake the arl he'll be spared? All I can say is that it is MUCH harder with Jowan.

Did I mention how much more rewarding?

Helping a man find redemption is certainly satisfying.

First playthrough I convinced the First Enchanter to go himself. That was fun to play.

How do you sleep with the demon?

How do you get a stat increase?

How do you get Blood Magic?

I believe he is refering to the Blood Mage Specialization unlock which is done by talking to the Demon and making a deal. Not the Power of Blood abilities you get from the DLC.

Any suggestions on getting Jowan through it?  I can't avoid dying on the third battle with the demons.

I'm trying this as a non-mage for the first time, and I'm curious - is there any way to get the people you send in instead of you to actually negotiate with the demon? Jowan wouldn't do it the time I tried with him, since he wanted to do something good for once. (And no, even sending Jowan in, there seemed to be no good outcome for him - Eamon wouldn't ever release him no matter what, and I never had an option to intervene by say, invoking the Right of Conscription, unfortunately). I assume Wynne wouldn't, don't have her yet in this game. I remember the time I brought the Circle of Magi in, I had the option to ask Irving to go in, but again, I assume he wouldn't negotiate. So there's Morrigan, who I figured wouldn't have a problem negotiating, but she refuses to do so as well, just says that she knows better than to make a deal.

So, I am curious - do all companions refuse to negotiate with the demon under all circumstances, or is there a way to make it so they are willing to talk?

The PC is the only one that can negotiate with the demon.

Ah, pity. I was hoping to hear Morrigan and the demon negotiate, I can imagine the lines being pretty amusing. I figured that'd be just the kind of thing she'd be apt to do, negotiate with the demon and come back and pretend she killed it.

Morrigan allready is a blood mage (at least enough to capture an old god in a fetus upon death of that god's dragon body) ... so it would not make sense for her to relearn blood magic.

There's a difference between being a blood mage and using a specific form of blood magic (which she probably studied in depth to the exclusion of other things).

The Chantry may not distinguish, but we all know they're a bunch of useless zealots anyway.

She doesn't learn that until much later when she gets Flemeth's grimoire.
