Can you reach level 30 if you start with a new character in DAA?

probably, but you'd have to do every every side quest I'd imagine. My mage was only 22 when transferred, so I imagine it's possible.

Yeah i started an orlesian warden and made 30 in the last zone.

Damn thats great, I could only make it to 21 with my warr in the original campaign, but if you can go from lvl 1 to lvl 30 in DAA there must a a crap load of things to do..

Well you start at level 18 when you choose the orlesian background and new character. Also i played on hard, so normal might be stretching it. I did miss a couple quests though, well i picked them up i just didn't turn them in.

yeah, "Orlesian" Wardens start at 18. I haven't really noticed any exp differences between hard and normal, though. huh

Yeah for some reason i thought difficulty might have changed the level scaling, but when you point it out it out i don't think it does.

My Origins character was Lvl 23 when I carried it over, and finished at Lvl 34 (very close to 35) in Awakening. So I imagine its very possible to reach Level 30, even if you start at a level 18 with a new Orlesian Warden.

I went from 22 to 33. Given that there's likely a level curve working in your favor (I'm just guessing), you should be able to eke out 30 from 18, assuming you do a comparable number of sidequests to me (most of them) and have a rogue with you to get the XP from lockpicks and traps.

I went from 23 to 34 with only a sliver til 35. There were only 3 or 4 small quests that I didn't do because of bugs or trigger problems.

Shiit...my bad, i thought you started out at lvl 1 in DAA so starting out at 18 should be a breeze to 30 lvl

My character was lvl 25 when I carried it over i don't think i am even hlf thru the game and I lvl 29 I have only played since last night.

I got to 35 well before the end of the game and I didn't even get a chance to do half of the side quests...

Xferred toon, I went from 20 to 32 and had the bug where I did not get half of the random ecounters



If anything, the leveling is too easy

I imported at 24 and hit 35 before the areas of the final battle.



I'm replaying now and am 33 and have a long way to go, I'm sure I'll hit 35 there as well.

My character, and the companions I used were all level 35 before I finished the last battle. Was a bit surprised at how fast I leveled, then again, Awakening ended faster than I hoped for ^^
