Dear Bioware,

I'm from Europe and I recently got a prepaid gift VISA specifically for electronic use, all charged up and ready to go.

It's not registered under any name, it's just a number, expiration date and CSC.

I tried to purchase a bunch of Biopoints last night but it simply would not accept my card. On the first try it did register the card but refused the payment. After a couple of failed attempts, I deleted the saved card settings and tried to re-do the whole thing but now it only says that the card is not valid/unacceptable.

I set up a PayPal account to rectify the problem but as of yet, it refuses to "see" the funds I have in the card.

Note that I did use it on some other pay sites with success so the card is proven to be functional et all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I think transferring money from the prepaid card to Paypal may be your only solution. Have you called the prepaid card company and asked for any additional information regarding online purchases?
