Simple question and very much I would ask for the response.

Would be nice to know, sadly the people who would be able to answer you don't frequent round the PS3 boards that often.

I would assume so; but, you know what assuming does. :)

no, the bigger question should be: what will a new patch ruin this time?

What's going to happen is the patch will fix everything that is broken in both DA:O and DA:O-A and the break everything that isn't already broken. Image IPB

Based on RtO, this seems about right.

Seriously, is there ANY news about a patch for Awakening?

I have shelfed it until there is a patch!

I'm not buying another DA DLC or DA2 until they patch Awakenings. There's no excuse for the buds in Awakenings. They rushed the game without proper testing. The Firmware update problem I can understand. Doesn't mean they should take their time fixing it though.

I'd rather they do it right than rush out a crappy patch.

I agree with Drasmere. I will not purchase another Bioware item until they patch these bugs. You take a look at a company like Bungie and they launch a beta with the intention of getting feedback. Seriously, how hard is it to fix sentinel armor and vigilance. I can't bring any items from Soldier's Peak, but the game reads the damn armor and sword as the Warden Commander and Starfang? The fact that it's taken so long for nothing to be done for something simply is just insulting. Stop whoring for money and release a finished product.

I agree. I bought Mass Effect 2/Dragon Age in roughly the same time frame. It will be my last BioWare purchase unless Dragon Age is patched, and soon. The amount of bugs, glitches, crashes, freezes, framerate problems, etc. is borderline ridiculous. If this wasn't a BioWare developed and EA published game, then reviewers would be RIPPING it like they do for the lesser-knowns.

And considering this game does in fact, for the most part, look like crap compared to other current-generation games, there really isn't any excuse for the framerate issues. It's not like this game is GPU intensive. LOL

I'm not gonna make hollow threats about never buying another bioware game (I'm not a whiny baby) but a patch would really be appreciated.

Also, I'VE NOTHING TO SAY TO YOU I'VE NOTHING TO SAY TO YOU I'VE NOTHING TO SAY TO YOU I'VE NOTHING TO SAY TO YOU I'VE NOTHING TO SAY TO YOU I'VE NOTHING TO SAY TO YOU I'VE NOTHING TO SAY TO YOU I'VE NOTHING TO SAY TO YOU

It's not a threat. The only recourse consumers have to get their point across is to withhold money.

UPDATE:  They have apparently come up with a patch, though it took several months.  I think in future I will wait until prices come down, for a cleaned-up product.  The industry-wide practice of making early adopters pay for being beta testers is pretty cheesy.

i agree a patch is in order, i love the game but I am really struggle with the bugs i am having (mainly side quest bugs)

i cant give the heartwood to wade, and many other issues in-sue like the dude fixing the walls after iv paid him i cannot tell him about the ore i found even tho he has a quest marker over him , i may start again to see if i can fix this but at the moment it is kind of annoying to say the least.

I am very keen to complete it

please patch for glitches,

im starting to get pissed. i bought DAOA, and the keycode doesnt work. and EA support wont help me. can 1 kecode used more than 1 times? if anyone has DAOA on pc and you can use keycode more than once, i would be soooooo happy if the owner of keycode would "lend" the keycode for me.
