I recreated that char, rushed thru Origins with no DLC items on the char, to get him used to it for Awakening (had some on the inventory for the last save, just in case) and now I have a few questions about it, if someone can help me, please?

First, I'm happy that Awakening chose for Oghren the same set I chose for my char in this latest pre-Awakening playthrough. LotD armor rulez for melee char, imho. But how come Oghren in the expansion has a hell lot more points to distribute right at the first meeting him than my imported char? I mean, my Rage was 25 when finished Origins and Oghren is now 25 too (vs 24 in Origins) but he has so many more points for talents and not sure but seems like for skills too. Will I get those extra points when I respec my character?

And should I wait to level all the party members, or at least to spend some spec and talent points until I unlock the new specializations? How far I need to go into the game to unlock them?

You can totally respec you or any one in your party at any time for a small amount of gold by using the Manual of Focus which can be bought in the keep. I swap my party specs out all the time.
