I got it from gamestop too and it is pretty cool, love the blackstorm, but its low ammo count can make me sad. I would love to see N7 armor pieces that are chunky, plate-like, and angular.Blk_Mage_Ctype wrote...

Damage reduction is really just like adding health, but I would welcome a third layer, aka armor that would regenerate like shields, so if we could get a third bar that would be great, but if all you want is damage reduction, just use the health boost pieces, it does virtually the same thing, just with a different name.Astranagant wrote...
I want armor that actually works. You know, armor that actually gives you armor in addition to shielding. Armor is nothing but cosmetic in ME2, once your shields are down you might as well be naked.
EDIT: I would like to see armor in this vein, obviosly not actually a plane, but angular and chunky, something not seen in Scifi games very often.

You'd like the Terminus Armor...
It was a Preorder Bonus for Gamestop .They'll probably bring it to the Cerberus Network eventually, but the code goes for cheap on eBay if you want it right away. (I myself got one for $3.25)

I myself can carry up to 8 shots for the Blackstorm, and since the weapon is so damn uber, I've never needed more.

Well I would kind of love to see this type of armor design in Mass Effect 2, since they did one for Dragon Age: Origins.
Star Wars: The Old Republic's Bounty Hunter Armor
Plus the armor looks cool, and they do have bounty hunters in Mass Effect's Universe.:innocent:
I also would like toggable helmets (even on the "special" or DLC/Promo Armor(s)), or a new helmet model as well, I keep on having to use the N7 Enviormental Helmet (as seen in the Beginning).
This.

While it is nice that thy decided to sticky this thread it would be nice to get some feedback from a dev on if they are even considering adding N7 pieces to the current Mass Effect 2 or if they are considering ideas exclusively for ME3.
Yeah, I really wish that they'd post some kind of feedback too. Even a generic post like, "Lots of great ideas here, we'll certainly look into them." would be great.
My guess is that they've got enough ideas of their own lined up for the time being, and are waiting for this topic to build up and are saving it's suggestions for a rainy day.
Shouldn't be too hard to choose which suggestion to put into action, since the majority of posts here are asking for N7 Parts and Helmet Toggle.

More parts for the N7 would be nice too, but I think they already plan to do that.

I was wondering why the DLC armors were not put into the N7 system, and I wish that there was a patch to make them part of the N7 system, but it will never happen

I can understand the desire to run around in collector armor with the 'helmet' off but that isn't the way they were designed in terms of appearance or in terms of art assets. To state it simply the armor is a single piece.
We do have a system for armor segments, and you can use that to construct a custom look for Shepard, but armor has to be designed artistically and otherwise for this system. To put it another way - the collector armor wouldn't look like the collector armor if we built it using the segmented armor system. We're able to get the awesome look because it's a single armor piece. This is not a bug, so it can't be "patched" to change the behavior.
Okay, great... That explains why the Collector Armor was done in one piece, and I can respect that. And frankly, the Collector Armor would look weird without the helmet anyway, so cool.
However, that doesn't explain why you made the Terminus, Inferno, Blood Dragon, and Cerberus Armor in one piece... Those Armors already look segmented like the N7 Armor to begin with, so the choice to make them one piece was just an inexcusably bad decision.
If they truly cannot patch the existing armors so that the helmets are a separate piece from the suit, or otherwise make the helmet invisible during conversations, then they ought to take the 24 hours at most necessary to redesign all of the DLC Armors again using the say system as the N7 armor, then make the modified versions of the DLC Armors available for download on the Cerberus Network.
Wanna bundle them all together and sell them? Okay, fine... At this point in time I wouldn't mind paying for all the DLC Armors a 2nd time, since they sport a new and incredibly desirable feature that would actually require a bit of work on their part.
The point is, we all want Helmet Toggle. So if Bioware truly does listen to their fans like they say they do, then after reading all the posts in not only this topic, but the countless others requesting the exact same thing, then they should be willing to take the time to redesign the DLC Armors using the N7 System, and implement some kind of system that allows the helmet to be removed manually or come off/become invisible automatically when Shepard enters a conversation ala Dragon Age Origins.

For me it was more of a non-collector armor question, I'm fine with the collector's armor not being segmented because it is truly unique in the ME armor universe, so I don't care, the other ones are not as unique so there is far less of an artistic exuse for them not being N7 armor parts.Blk_Mage_Ctype wrote...

If I could pick more armour for Shepard though, how about a flesh armour type design? Something like Gary Oldman wore in Dracula. T'would be mucho groovy indeed.
