Well, I'm still clinging to hope that Helmet Toggle will be added to ME2, but incase it never happens, I just made this in hopes that it'll help insure that Bioware doesn't make the same mistake twice...

I'm hoping for more N7 components, but attractive, useful and in areas other then helmet. As well as a helmet toggle.
Equalizer pack shows how fragile those hopes are:unsure: Maybe Bioware will read the forums and take note of what we want.

Helmet toggle.
An outfit from Shepard's background - Earth Gang wear, Colonist clothes, Spacer outfit.
Did I mention helmet toggle? Or maybe just break up the DLC armor into customizable pieces?
More casual wear. The ability to dress up my squad in casual wear and combat wear.
Helmet toggle.
More formal wear and more places to wear it.

I know it's been said billions and billions of times, but I'll say it again. toggle helmets. That's all I want out of any DLC armor, and it's the only way I will buy any in the future unless it's N7 stuff.

So far items provide single bonus, thus you get very simple choice: more armor or ability power. This provide litle choice, if you play pure class. Like for example as a soldier Im allways limited to pickng one set of N7 armor, because all other are just not for me.
I think if you combine more bonuses to the peaces of armor, then you get a better veriety, like:
shorder pads give more ammo and slight bonus to abilities or another one giving major bonus to abilities and very weak bonus to weapon dmg.
This way you have to think of what to pick.
Also, remove sets of armor, I find them not a good thing, better make a set that you can change. like Blood Dragon armor in dragon Age, where you can take only part of it but use other parts from different armors. But lets say if you combine all set then you get an extra bonus.
Also if you return back armor protection bonus (like light/medium/heavy) then it might be interesting. Like N7 armor peaces but also with factor of dmg protection, this way you can make it even more fun, when you have to think if you want a major bonuses but lower protection or high protection and lttle bonus.
PS: make some epic armors, where you really have to work in order to get it, like for example legendary armor of Council Protector or something.
and STOP... stop, stop, stop making armors (or weapons) go directly to you inventory. Make it so that they a picked on the missions, or at least unlocked as you progress through the game, because right now you get overpowered directly on minute one as you start playing.

i'd like to see some class specfic armour.
ie a heavier armour for the soldier (better shields but slower )
a lighter armour for the infiltrator (takes less damage but allows cloak to last longer)
tech armour for engineers (like you see some enemy use)
or perhaps even background specific armour
Spacer gets some from their parents
Colonist gets some from their old colony
earthborn gets some from their old gang
***
sole survivor gets some from cerberus as a apology for their part in akuze
war hero gets some from the alliance
ruthless has one shepard made themselves from the armour of some noticable kills from torfan
thats my ideas for now, but i may edit this later to add some 'stats' for the background armour.

Agreed, however this is something that alot of players want, Bioware can just make a DLC patch that costs like $5-10 depending on how much people really want it.

No, they want it that badly, they can pay for it. Bioware could make some bank on that.

I want Helmet Toggle, and personally I'd be willing to pay for it.
Such a patch/DLC would take time and effort on Bioware's part, and while it was their bad decision to not include it in ME2, I'd be willing to pay for a patch that added it.
I made a poll about this one, the vast majority of people said it should be free, but since most folks around here all want something for nothing, that's really not surprising...
http://social.biowar...648/polls/5290/
However, I'm positive that if BW ever did release a paid DLC for Helmet Toggle, there would be massive bawwwing all across the boards about how it should be free and yada yada yada.
Still, I'd pay for Helmet Toggle. Even if it was only like in Dragon Age where Helmets toggle off automatically when you enter a conversation. (Which shouldn't be too hard for BW to do, since it already works in reverse where helmets auto toggle on when you go to places without oxygen)

I think class specific armors should be the way to go. Like Nocturnal Stillness was saying, something for the Soldier class would have - for example - +20% health and +20% shields but have -5% Storm Speed and could look like the Heavy Colossus armor from ME 1 - and have every part but the helmet (since it looks almost exactly like the default helmet). Taking those iconic armors and making them a part of ME 2 would be the most sensible choice.

MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor
Greatly increases Melee Damage, Shields, Storm Speed and Health.
However, if Shepard tries to move while wearing it he breaks every bone in his body and dies.
