toggle helmets before anything plzy
I'd say it like this: realistic helmet behaviour, consisting of:
(1) Real helmets for everyone in open space or foreign atmosphere environments. Can be transparent, but must protect the whole head. NOT toggleable.
(2) Helmets off in face-to-face conversations and while walking around in peaceful non-space environments.
(3) Helmets on in non-space combat scenarios.
(2) and (3) can be toggleable but if not I don't really care.

I'd love to have the armor (clothing) from the guy hanging off of the roof for my Infiltrator.

Original Colossus
Original Phantom
Original Rage
Added Asari Commando Armor
Fix Garrus Archangel(ORIGINAL, that DLC ver don't count) and I'd pay you 1.00 buck(ONE BUCK!)
I'll spar you the obligatory toggle something remark.

Im thinking something that increases shields or health DRAMATICALLY, but at the expense of increased power cooldown period, and decreased sprint speed, if the decrease in sprint speed is possible. Any other negative effects are OK too, I just want to feel like a TANK with crazy shields.

navy blue and traffic cone orange colours - maybe emblems like in Halo 3?
A Garrus-style targetting visor
A helmet with a mirrored faceplate, like the inferno armour LOOKED like it was going to have <_<
A kama...because ARC troopers are cool.

~ Asari Commando getup in their respective black, brown and red variations like they show up in ME1. <<< !!!
~ Light, and especially medium armor as used in ME1 (loooove the medium armor mesh!)
~ More cloth, less hard plating (For engineers and adepts mostly. Hate running around with soldier's armor heavy weapons on those classes)
~ N7 armor pieces
Oh, and if you guys at BioWare are seriously considering all this stuff: either enable a helmet toggle, or don't bother with helmets. Pls? Kthx

Amen. I like that armour, and I'm currently using on my Sentinel, but it'd looked much sweeter if it appeared as it did in the promo shootsspruce56 wrote...

What I'd like to see is the Collector Armor and Rifle be put up for sale as DLC. Buyers of the Limited edition who don't really care for it are selling it at Ebay for nearly $50! (Some are selling it for more!) The high price just shows how highly demanded it is, and I'm pretty sure Bioware and EA would make a handsome profit from putting it up online at an easy accesible price. LucasArts did the same thing: They released the Ultimate Sith Edition of the Force Unleashed and had a Hoth level exclusive to the CD version. But the buyers of the DLC online complained loudly, and Lucasarts knew the demand for the level as DLC would be high......so they released the special Hoth level online and the online DLC buyers bought it. EA would profit from such an example.

Thats what they did with Inferno armor and people complain anyway. I don't know what will satisfy the consumer now a days since all I hear is complaints.

I want the armor from X-COM: Apocalypse. Both the starting gray armor and the red jumpjet armor would be awesome. Of course, since they are individual pieces in the game, they'd have to be individual pieces in Mass Effect 2.
Oh, I forgot about X-Com. Thanks for reminding me about the Megapol and Marsec armour. I always found the cover art deplicting a squad in Megapol armour to be quite cute!
Hey, you didn't mention the X-Com Disruptor armour!

I think a cool idea would be visors that can be worn under the helmets, there is bound to be space under them, especially the massive piece of work that is the death mask, which I like however because it is unique.
Thought I'd share a few armor pics
