Ummmm....... NO DLC armor, just kinda would like to get enough pieces all up front and not this two piece trickle crap that should have been there to begin with.

I dont want to play through the game and 2 months later have good, but unnecessary armor pieces added that I would have liked, but dont want to play through the game again just to enjoy them.

That is my DLC armor wish list.

THANK YOU!!!

...I'm going to agree with this.

The window for DLC weapons and armor is a small one. If they had a bunch of weapons and armors up after a month of being sold then players would have been screaming that they're being milked (unless it's free then they'd be saying there's not enough weapons/armor).

If there's not much weapons or armor updates over a longer period of time then it feels completely unnessary. And it is, since so many players would have beaten the game without these items no matter how helpful they may be.

I think we may have passed the time for new weapons and armor. The story pack DLC are still fine as long as they realize that Mass Effect isn't like other games.

Many players, myself included, have completed their main characters and they are sitting waiting to be uploaded into ME3. All these new story DLCs and the like change their level of completeness. My first character was my 'Main' character who does exactly as I can without any foreknowledge, so even my mistakes are MINE. DLC like Firewalker didn't exist when I did this run and restarting that character seems to miss the point of having a character that reacts as I would, I would already know the outcomes possible.

SO, I agree with the above statements and propose this:

Armor/Weapon and small mission DLC needs to be out and available fairly early in the game's life. Say the first 3-5 months. After that too many of the audience has moved on to other games.

Big story packs are nice for games that are not Mass Effect 2 since there is no import function to the next game. Likewise, the only way to really do the mission pack idea is to look at them like an Expansion Pack after the game.

If you're making an Expansion Pack then horde your new armor/weapons/reskins for that, it'll increase its price, your customer will think it's better because it offers more, and word of mouth with increase its importance to 'must have' (wee little 'Episodes' ala Half-Life 2's should also be avoided. "Bridging the Gap" is stupid jargon, if the gap between games is so important than start the next game during that gap.)

So yes, I say it's too late for new armor stuff. If they're making new armors and the like they should combine it with Overlord. And anything after Overlord and so on. Imagine if the Equalizor Pack was combined with Overlord?

I just want one thing. SQUAD CUSTOMIZATION DLC, **** the rest, i am tired of tid bits of content too, just make something the players miss for once, the game has so many models so why not add that very important aspect back? everything seems downgraded from ME1 regarding armor, upgrades are brainless buy or find, and what pisses me off is i can´t customize my squad like in ME! arrrg! the rest i can live with i guess but barely.

I'm hoping we get the old ME1 armors. They're they easiest armors to add, they're coding already exists they just need to make them accesible to us. ME1's armors were great and I'd love to have them back in ME2. I fail to see why all the enemy NPCs and even dead bodies can use them but we can't. It's a simple thing to do, it has already been done by modders. How difficult would it be to give access to us 360 players?

my personal wish list...

for the remaning ladies, one of two options, either more bulky clothing, like some proper armor (with helmets for no atmos areas) or alot less clothing, and im talking really skimpy, teen-fanboy ****** stuff, except for Tali, for her, the outfits that all the other fem-Quarians have, just a small change

For Zaeed, Blue Suns armor w/Helmet

For Grunt, either Battlemaster/Rage armor (see Uvenk and boss in Jacks loyalty mish), Merc armor like Wrex had in ME1 or Warlord armor, something to make him a little bulkier, he seems small compared to Wrex

For Kasumi, as above or a proper ninja outfit (again for the teen-fanboys)

Mordin, STG armor, like Kirrahe in ME1

Legion, non damaged outfit, either all Red (rocket trooper), all white (shock trooper) or all black (sniper)

Jacob, not that he gets used other than on the first mish and his loyalty, but if you have to, give him the DLC Cerberus Assault Gear

I would rather see them working on story instead of silly armor. ME3 has to be elevated at least back to level of ME1.

ME1 was the game that had 4000+ suits of armour^_^

Bioware did not release DLC content that was armor specific when it came to ME1.

ME1 armor was using same model.

ME1 had story supperior in every way to ME2, hence my comment.

Late reply, I know, but I feel ME2 does still have a good, though inferior to ME1's story. And I believe mE1 has too many pointless retextures that add nothing to the game but a cramped inventory. I think ME2's system is better but probably uses the same amount of time,
And yes, story needs alot of focus, but so do other areas, and I doubt making a few good suits of armour will ruin the story.

Shepard - Helmet Toggle, lol..but really. Also should have had at least 10 options for N7 parts without downloading DLC. Otherwise fine imo. I was more concerned about having 2 pistols, shotguns, etc. That's lame, regardless of the fact that they play differently.

Miranda - A proper combat uniform without heels, that manages to look combat-ready without being as bulky as Ashley's heavy class armor.

Jacob - Something not skin-tight, and I say this as a gay. But also cool, it needs to look cool. That is all.

Jack - I LOVED the DLC...except for the shades. How about giving us something less 'extreeemeee' now? What about those who romanced her and softened her personality a bit? Can we get a little more 'calmed down' style of armor. Or for that matter, any armor that looks thicker than a t-shirt?

Zaeed - Basically anything that doesn't give the merc vibe. Crocodile dundee? hmm? Give him a nice little hat and jacket?

Kasumi - Something more Japanese, and less like a copy of Tali please.

Garrus - I like his DLC, but for more I don't know what I'd want. *shrug*

Tali - Something like her alternate armors in ME1. I liked how every armor of hers had a much different color scheme.

Mordin - Less doctor, more SECRET AGENT. Or like, what he would be wearing when working for espionage.

Grunt - Old krogan armor. Wrex's family armor?

Samara - Samara can get actual armor kthnx.

Thane - Cool shades. Now for DLC that would be worth it, I'd want...I don't exactly know. But something different.

Legion - Change the geth model for fun. Make him a Destroyer?

Also, I miss having individual armor/weapon stats for squadmates. They feel so BLAH now.

Don't know if it's been said, but I'd like the Kotor approach to customizing armor.

Form and function should meet as best as it can. I don't want to have something like Jacob's suit and have it have more armor than a regular suit of armor, but I want to be able to have armor with aesthetic appeal as well as decent protection quality.

I'd also like to get back the Hahne-Kedar Scorpion armor.

Well, I will write again.

I want my adept to wear light armour instead of the heavy (medium?) stuff from ME2. There shouldn't be any problems to her wear heavy like in ME1 but still I liked her in light stuff.

Let the armours have diferent statts. Like the heavy can hold more ammo but the light has a bonus to tech/biopowers and movement speed(yes reloading also). The medium would have some small amounts of both. The other upgrades from diferent parts (like better shields or so) can be still there or can be added by upgrades(I wrote about this in ME3 wishlist somewhere near the 134 site).

Also the TEAM ARMOUR CUSTOMIZATION must be added. It's the only part of really disapointed me. We look like guys collected from a junkyard not a team.

That's what I think.

For ME 3, please give us the ability to Toggle Helmets just like ME1 and include the toggle ability for all DLC armor as well as the default N7 armor. Also please restore the the ability to purchase new armor for team members.

I would be content with more parts for Shepard's N7 armour. I'm not that enthusiatic about all the other armours in ME2 because we can't remove the helmets from them. i find it hard to emote to my main charcter ( Shepard ) if I can't see his face. I wouldn't mind nnew armours but only if there is an option to toggle helmets on and off.

Light armor, for biotics, that greatly increases biotic abilities power an decreases their cooldown.

Also a ability to choose which weapon you will care on yourself and on which slot it is, in exchange on additional ammo for portable weapons (some of weapons are useless for some classes). And toggling helmet ability (really need thhis, specialy for DLC armors). Also I liked idea of mercenaries helmet for N7 armor (to heavy classes like soldier and vanguard). May be it`s a really good that players can wear no armor in combat (just casual outfit) to hardener the game difficulty. That`s all for now.

And sorry for my English.

I would like something different so i got this idea:

Smart Defence Armor: This armor features improvements in shield technology(you have better shields) but what really makes it special is a built in laser that shoots down aproaching missiles(as they seem to be the primary heavy weapon of your enemies).

Or an armor that electrocutes enemies that come too close.

PS: i didn't read all the posts so i don't know if someone already had these ideas.

More N7 armor parts.
*Most notably the shoulder pads. I would personally like to see something a bit more streamlined. A light armor look to it.
*An option to show helmet when not in hostile environments(firefights non withstanding). Like ME1. Aditional helmet designs would also be great, like the face plate for the mercs (or Kaidan in ME1)
*More armor patterns. Not just Standard, camo and the stripes. But something else. (Also, an option to switch between the Cerberus decal or the N7 on N7 armor would be nice, but not needed)

Also I'd like to see some way for European (and other regions) players be able to get Dr Pepper armor bits. As far as I know, only people in NA are able to use this.

What do game publishers have against people outside of NA? Almost everyone seems to have at least one "For NA users only" DLC or something of that kind.

While I do feel that you guys not getting these promotional codes a bit of a problem, everyone and their grandmothers knew about the codes being passed around like hookers and diseases, and that they could be reused per different person, and that we've had those codes for months on end.

I did try, but it keeps erroring me that the code is no longer valid. Seems they caught on to the scam...
