Whats the big deal with helmet toggle? You guys hate the faces the designers slaved over making just to put a funky helmet that does nothing for the game? Im glad they took out.

Actually... that's why we want it back - the DLC/special edition/pre-order armours all have a helmet... and you can't get rid of it.

So we want a toggle, because we *want* to see the faces instead of funky helmets (by the way, in ME2, helmets *do* do something).

So you want a toggle for Shepard?
I thought people were complaining for a toggle with teammates.
Seeing as them having a helmet dosent benefit them in way what so ever. and i know helmets actually do something to help shepard in this game. I too, would like to take off the damn helmet on the Cerberus Assault Armor but im not complaining

Well i read all the answers and must say that there are a lot of intresting ideas out here.

As for me it would be nice seeing my Shepard meeting a friend at a bar siting next to him and taking off the helmet.

But as goes for team members I must say that just new skins doesn't suit me. I want to chose their armor as i did in ME1 or like I do in ME2 for myself. Add some krogan, turian, salarian parts to shops and drops and i will be very pleased.

And we could do with some new parts, not only N7, because we are no more with the army. But i will be grate full for light/medium/havy armor. You know, not only difrent look outs. The light could benefit our run speed and the heavy would add some shields or armor. It would open many more tactics. One member stays in havy and covers you while you flank the enemy with a fast run in light stuff. But returning to parts i would like to see some merc, cerberus and maybe seome elite assari stuff. It was said that thay produce high class items so i want to see them.

But i want to loot the armor parts from dead enemies and after completing some missions.

That's what i think.

Geth armor does not exist. They are robots and are armor for themselfes. And have a lot difrent fiziology then humans or krogans you know. But a human armor made from geth parts(like the collectors one) would be cool.

Armor that's not heavy/massive. A lot of us played adept/infiltrator/vanguard in the first run.

Sleeker armor, especially for FemShep. Get rid of the big shoulder pads and neck braces.

And the BOOTS. No giant clunky angular boots that go to the knees. Just like, normal combat boots.

I want a helmet with a scary skull design. Wearing it gives you +20% intimidation bonus.

And I would also like armor parts that would match this helmet.

Thanks, everyone for all of your contributions! We're getting alot of really good suggestions, and I really hope that the guys from Bioware have been listening.

Keep 'em coming!

Please give us the option to toggle helmets on and off.
This includes the head pieces in the N7 set. It would be nice to receive the bonus without having to display the gear.

I like my fem Shepards as Adept using basic N7 armour only cause its not so bulky. I dont use Cerberus armour cause it looks so ugly
ME1 was good to distinguish heavy armour from light.
I really really want DLC with nice sexy (something like Kasumi dress or Miranda dress) amour 4 Adept Engineer Infiltrator. Current armour suits solider concept only.

nice we have DLC wish list topic.
Fix Kasumi to make her a romance target 4 Male Shepard. Kasumi should have Katana 4 her shadow strike.
Ach new Shepard dress from Kasumi pack u got too much bump map in that dress so Shepard skin is cellulite LoL

The type of helmets mercs wear. The ones with glowing eyes ... Image IPB

Thin, Light, Infiltrator type armour would be great. Too many types of armour are huge thick slow things designed for vanguards and soldiers. (+10% duration on Cloaking / +5% Longer sprints / + 5% Damage)

A pimp black armor with some menacing red lights and a red visor built in for more headshot goodness!

Shepard Armor:

1: Some lighter looking armor pieces, particularly a set of lighter shoulder pads like the ones from the female medium and male and female light armors in ME1. Shepard's armor in ME2 all has the appearance of heavy armor; which is totally appropriate on a hulking soldier; but looks out of place on a stealthy infiltrator.

2: Ability to change the color of the glowing blue lights on my armor and on my visor. Green, white, orange, or yellow would look better on my soldier.

3:  Some very subtle armor for your head.  Some players prefer rolling without a helmet or visor; but as it is the game punishes you for doing so.  Thus a small ear piece of the like which is hard to notice; but still provides a stat boost would be nice.

4: More colors. In particular I'd like to see a shade of light olive green and the black primary armor coloration available as a color for the secondary and armor pattern.

5: More armor patterns. In particular I'd like to see a pattern that looks like tiger stripe camo.
http://upload.wikime...igerstripe.PNG

Squad Armor:

1: Several alternate skins per new armor model, since skins take considerably less effort to create, it seems a waste to release a armor model with only one alternate skin. For example, I love the model of the new armor for Garrus in the alternate appearance pack; but I'm not a huge fan of the color. I'm still waiting for some Green Camo.

2: Don't make armor that obscures the character's face with glasses or what not. Bioware spent too much time crafting expressive faces to obscure them with sunglasses. I liked everything about Jack's new model in the alternate appearance pack (not a fan of the post apocalyptic crack **** look) except for the sunglasses which obscure the character's expressive eyes which were in my opinion one of the best parts of her character design.

3: Some more military style outfits (Green Camo). I like rolling out Shepard in green camo and I wish my squad could look less rag tag and more like soldiers. The rag tag look fits some of the characters; but characters like Garrus, Grunt, and Zaeed in particular would look damn good in green.

4: A set of that boss Serrice Council Phantom armor (the one Nihlus wore in ME1) for Garrus, preferably with a green alternate skin.

It would be nice to be able to remove the helmets from DLC armours, or use the visors/masks aquired from shops. Maybe missions to get the armours, not just a message from The Illusive Man. Just simple things, like speechless N7 missions.

It would be amusing to have proper medieval plate mail though. Perhaps as another Dragon Age crossover DLC.

[edit] Clarified

I also thought it'd be kind of cool to have a special N7 Shep armor that you could earn for each class, suited to the style. Soldier gets the heavier N7 armor we all like. Vanguard gets something similar to Grunt, heavy but sleeveless. So on and so forth. Either get it at the beginning or make it a mission reward with some appropriate stats. These would either be headgear that can be used with the normal N7 armor, or armor that you can use the current headgear with. You wouldn't be forced to use this, but it'd be something cool each class could earn.

Soldier: +20% health, +10% weapon damage. Heavy N7 armor al la ME1
Vanguard: +15% Power and weapon damage. Heavy N7 armor, sleeveless.
Sentinel: +20% shields, +10% power damage. Skull-faced merc helmet.
Engineer: +10% power damage, ammo, and shields. Tech visor that covers left side of face with a screen.
Infiltrator: +20% weapon damage, +10% Shields. Lower face mask+targeting reticule.
Adept: -15% cooldown, +15% power damage. Hood, al la Kasumi.

No thanks, I'd like to be able to wear any armor I want, and choice the bonuses I get.
For example, I'm a Sentinel, but I like the Heavy Armor more than the old light armor in ME1, yet if it worked your way, I'd be forced to wear light armor with preset bonuses.
I like the customization and freedom the current system offers.

It ain't broke, so don't bother trying to fix it.

Grey track suit pants and a white singlet. Possibly wearing thongs (I think most of you guys call them flip - flops or something?). A choice of sun glasses.
Ability to mix and match different armour (The bonus content ones, collector armour etc..)
Your squad mates will wear full body armour and helmets when operating in Zero Atmosphere!!!!
