A hundred-thousand pardons if this is not the right forum to post to, but being that I'm a 360 Dragon Age player, I figured this would be the best fit.
I've seen all my old characters - long since deleted now - upload properly to my profile. They were always there ready to be selected as a profile picture, for instance. Then, for the longest time, I'd get an error while connecting to EA servers when loading up Dragon Age. No big, since it didn't stop me from playing.
Since Awakening came out, I've been able to connect properly to EA servers. And it's been uploading my characters to the profile again, but not their pictures. Not their face pictures, from what I can see, and not the character models with equipment.
Can anyone explain why?

Sure. You can wade through lots of old forum topics but the basic gist of it is that Bioware/EA (whoever designed these forums and the character upload system) made the quite idiotic executive design that character portraits upload only once upon actual character creation. So if by chance you weren't connected to the EA servers (which I assume that you weren't during those months) and you created characters, their portraits were only allowed that one chance to upload here. Since they didn't, they NEVER will. Sorry....

LOL. I turned off automatic upload and my game seems to run better now. Don't know if it's just impression.

So you if you imported an existing character from Origins, same name, same profile etc, when you try to upload, it won't show a picture or anything you rcharacter is wearing?
