Wow! I should respec my melee rogue to an Archer then when I import her. I also have to agree that 2h warriors are overpowered too. I just got Massacre and just one use of it in a group of mobs got me that Achievement for hitting for over 250 in one strike and wiped them out. With the addition of other AoE moves like Onslaught and AoE CC, War Cry and Two-handed sweep, playing a 2h is really fun to do.
For two-handed warriors, it's even crazier if you take Spirit Warrior as a specialization. Massacre with Beyond the Veil active (to convert everything to spirit damage that bypasses armour) hit for over 760 damage (although granted, it was on some regular human bandits). On regular targets, Beyond the Veil in conjunction with Sunder Armour or Sunder Weapon (both of which hit twice) is really nice.
EDIT: Before I forget, you need Soulbrand (the passive second talent in the Spirit Warrior chain) in order to convert your damage to spirit damage w/ Beyond the Veil. It's a shame that the ring that increases spirit damage by 100% is mage-only.

You don't really need shockwave with all the AoE active abilities 2h has now.

I wear heavy armor everywhere besides chest , chest alone usually can raise fatigue by almost 40% and thus i use leather for chest and have ~4% fatigue total.
2H is all about using your active skills so its important to not have too much fatigue, yet with defender's spec buff i could raise my armor to 45 while having leather,
Finished game with nathaniel, ogren changed to tank midgame with book and leaving my char as 2h. Now i started again and did my own char 2h but spirit warrior [might change to archery, there are items increasing shooting speed by a lot like gloves meaning ill shoot fast, and you can get good XBow riht away]
Try XBow with warrior, STR enough to have XBow and rest in dex [since they scale with dex for dmg and accuracy] then use items and xbow with quick aim, and use 1st skillu get in awakening in archery that increases your crit chance by 25%.
Arrow of Slaying far aboe 1000dmg,
XBow warrior + spirit warrior [spirit damage + increased attack speed further]
Serious ownage :>

For the same reason i dojnt use archery much. Getting 400 criticals every hit is unacceptable especially when it makes rest of yout skills reluctant and useless.

I am really impressed with what BioWare changed with Archers. Nathaniel's auto attacks hit for like 105 non-crit and 160 or so crit. That does have something to do with Accuracy, but with Rapid Aim, Archers are like the best auto attack dps in the game! I haven't played my mage characters yet so I don't know much mage damage has gone up. I am playing a two-handed warrior atm and I also like the new abilities they added there. I am just really happy to see Archers aren't bad anymore. Arrow of Slaying being able to hit for like 600 depending is just crazy. Just thought I'd share that.
Youre wrong.
Archer with ACCURACY and WITHOUT rapid aim does A LOT more damage due to insanely high crit chance

Accuracy with full dex character is overpowered to oblivion (aswell as aoe arcane warrior and 2h warriors). At end of game i had over 100% crit and hiting for 300-500, mostly 2shoted everything below boss lvl. After few tries with Arrow of Slaying i get 1632 (but its faster just 2 autoshot hits), im sure with dmg buffs and debuffs can go over 2000. If u have rogue from origins, try respec full dex and u will see. AoS was able to hit over 600 in origins.

This. Awakenings broke archers all over the place.

Rapid Aim is a property that certain equipment has that decreases how long it takes you to fire a shot. You're thinking of Rapid Shot, which is an Archer mode that increases firing speed, but sets Critical Hit Chance to 0%.
