Second verse, same as the first. My female poll got some interesting data (links in my sig, if you're interested), so I figure I ought to look at the other half of the population.

Vote according to your gender and favorite romance; I''d like both male and female players to respond, anyone who's played a male Shepard and done a romance (or not done a romance, if your tastes run that way). It's interesting to see which love interests have cross-gender appeal (last time, Garrus was the clear winner in that category) and which are gender-specific (Thane and Kaidan had very little male support).

After some deliberation, I decided to stick with the model I went with earlier, counting Kelly as a romance and not counting Samara/Morinth. If you prefer Samara or Morinth, select 'I don't like any'.

Nice pollwork. Can't say I'm surprised by the cross-gender appeal, though; most males who play as FemShep will romance Liara (for the obvious reasons). Those that don't like Liara would surely go for Garrus, as he's the least human-looking and they don't feel... y'know. Quite as strange. And they can project bromantic fantasies as well.



Anyway, as small and skewed as the sample size may be, I'm interested in seeing the results of the Male LI pole. I have my guesses, but... you never know.

I can't wait to see which romance is the most popular amongst females. Unlike the other poll, this one isn't predictable in the slightest. Er...not when it comes to the female players, anyway.

Interesting... So far Ash is the most popular LI amongst females.... Unexpected.

Amongst males it looks like its coming down to a battle between Tali and Liara.

EDIT: And Tali's votes just doubled, nevermind.

Tali does feel WAY too much like a little sister one for me, so I avoid it. She seems just really sheltered physically and emotionally. Liara, not so much.

I'm a female and both of my ManSheps so far have romanced Tali. It's like...she's got the rule of Garrus going for her to me.

You know the one: Start a new game to explore other romance options, romance Garrus Tali anyway.

Tali is like a little sister and my Shepard is from Mindoir not the south...



Also she cries like a baby! geez.. I killed Benezia right infront of Liara she didn't cry her eyes out like a baby.

Male. Main manshep paragon, Ashley then switched to Miranda so chose Miranda as that is who I intend to stick with in ME3 assuming we get the option. Main femshep, Liara and stuck with it.



I then created new characters to explore Garrus and Tali (didn't finish that game, though I might once the tank pack comes out) as I like those characters and wanted to see what it was like, but the main's are what I voted on. None of the others held much appeal to me.

...I can't say I didn't expect it, but I did kind of hope there wouldn't be such a zerg rush. I wonder if I might get more balanced results if I excluded the 'Male, Tali' option...

I don't see how it factors in. Female players will be voting for the female options regardless, and those female players are the primary focus anyway.
