Okay, first things first, there's a room in the Avil of the Void zone, witrh 4 anvils and a 4 faced statue. But I just cannot figure out the fracken puzzle to move on. I've gone through every adventure movie cliche I can think of too (as I really liked the potential "leap of faith" homage in the Gauntlet) and I got nothing... Help please.
Second, and much more importantly.... Besides Alistair's pendant, what are the best gifts to give him? I've been staying away from anything religious, but it says he's got a foundness for magic... Also saw some mention od Duncan's shield as a gift, where do I find that?
Thank you,
Ariella

The orzammar statute isn't too bad. Kill one spirit dwarf very time they appear and then hit the corresponding anvil. Repeat 7 more times. I suggest you pick a single anvil and camp out by it, only killing the spirits that associated with it.

For the Big.Tomb.Raider.Plus. Indiana.Jones.Shooty.Thing you must kill the spirits then after than activating the anvils to inflict 500 damage to the statue, it has a ton of health and will constantly launch shockwaves to send you flying and debuffs, its gruelling but after activating the anvils about 4-8 times (cant remember exact) you will destroy it and move on.. It doesn't get much easier after that.
You will find Duncan's shield in the wardens secret vault which I think you won;t find until later in the game, I did the Redcliffe arc last so I have no idea if you can get there early in the game. It will rise about 9+ fondness and of course your touching Cry Baby moment.
