For school, work, personal interest or whatever.

P.S. The internet is so full of porn it is not worth mentioning.

P.P.S. Unless it was really weird.

I once came across a FAQ about dogs that was really, really not what I was looking for.

Sadly no. Just unexpected porn results, links to skanky MySpace or Facebook pages, and the like. I've run into other types of pages or projects I found interesting now and then, but none struck me as bizarre.

Porn. I was pretty much the last generation before pop-up blockers/etc. became widely available.

Yes the same thing has happened to me as well, it was on how to teach your dog to do tricks that arent fit to be discussed here.

Orthodoxy in religious belief and practice is an anomaly in every major religion.

Is it weird if you're looking up the history of agriculture on Wikipedia and end up at the Fatty Arbuckle page?

Porn, whilst at work, using a poorly constructed google search for the National Institute for health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) and breast cancer.

Part of my job is to do with Building conditions and components and I wanted to do a web search for articles on machine/mechanical room penthouses. Foolishly I started my google search with just the word penthouse......and got predictable results.

Some very stupid hypothetical Math questions about number not really equaling themselves.

Just plain odd.

It's pretty weird when you are doing research on the holocaust and still manage to find porn in your search.

and thats just won the thread ^
EDIT: In fact, i felt sorry for the people in my year who took Psychology as a lesson - because they had to research why young men often fell in love with their own mothers because they were breastfed for too long (or something to that effect).

Not really. Those sites are MEANT to prey off of topics that are searched for on a regular basis.

It becomes weird when you find out that an Israeli was the one making that kind of porn in Israel until he was arrested and his bs censored.

Doing my research in the internets I came across -believe it or not- a whole site dedicated to poo. Poo jokes, different forms of poo, poo and the toilet, farts, poo problems etc.
But wait, it gets even weirder, in the forums I came to a discussion about lots of desperate people having liquid butt leakage, and I read you can fix that with eating more fiber.

Again, thats not a joke. I'll take a look if this place still exists.

Yeah, this experience changed my life. The horror...

Reading about that site is enough to gross me out, Woldan. I hope it didn't have photos. Ew. Serious levels of ew.
