Hey guys, like the title says, I want to make a hand cannon for my Dwarf Noble. Basically, It'll be a close-range crossbow that requires ice/fire/whatever bolts (Lyrium gunpowder, I guess) that explode on impact like a explosive-type trap, and deal the appropriate elemental damage or whatever other magical effect.
I figure I'll make some recipies so that I can craft the gunpowder in-game, but I'm not really sure how I'd go about restricting the crossbow to use gunpowder instead of bolts.

Any ideas?

(also, I guess I could always use grenades and regular bolts, but they don't really have the BOOM factor I'm looking for. I'm looking at roleplaying as a sort of Dagna-type character, who's fascinated by magic, but can't do it himself. )
