thats one thing i picked up on the special edition disk or from somewhere, BioWare actully says they got the stunt guys from 300 to come in and get motion captured for some of the sword play, i knew i had saw some of those moves somewhere, especially the shield wall one, but still my favirote moment was stabbing the mother in the face, Achillies style, and this actuly fits as my PC is called Achillies

I think you are reading waaaay too much into that. From what little I have read of psychology it's not that uncommon for women to conciously or unconciously look at their fathers for models on how men should be, without this translating into anything like sexual feelings towards their fathers. Loghain wasn't a common man so I'm sure she would have daddy issues, just not creepy ones.

I was actually joking (well, half joking, since I think the epilogue is a bit deliberate). Anora hero-worships her father, but I do not think she has any psychosexual hang-ups because of this.

That was a terrible scene. Why would it not have been handled like a regular execution. Not performed on the spot right there. I thought that was pretty silly.  Makes it hard for me not to save Loghain.  Especially since the character I did it with is a dwarf. "Can you bend down Logain? Please? I really just want to get your neck, I'd rather not spray your brains over the landsmeet."  Just silly.

Agreed, that and seing the Seneschal get ramed by an ogre. It looks funnier than it sounds... tust me.

I have to agree - that was almost as awesome as some of Mass Effect 2's renegade interrupts. Just wish there was more of this stuff, and that your companions weren't as offended by it...

This. I thought I'd just stab him with a dagger, but that kick the cage into the lava had definitely surprised me. I loved my warden peering down to see if he was dead, heh. Disapproval from the whole group. *reload* =p

Really the whole group, only Sigrun was disappointed and she was the one who called him a thief. I thought Anders would say something but he kept quiet.

I had Justice (-5), Sigrun (-5), and Nathaniel (-1). Justice had a cutscene just as I was about to do the kick: "What are you doing?!"

However, the only thing that kept running through my mind when my character was walking away was: 'Hey! Why am I walking away from my sword? That's a great sword, an awesome sword, a valuable sword, a sword that has saved my life countless time, and I'm leaving it stuck in her corpse like that? Nooo, go back you wasteful moron!'

Nah, I think it was just an extra prop sword (like the prop sword that was used to kill the Archdemon or the one that was used to behead Logain).  My two-handed sword-wielding warrior apparently decided to take the time to sheathe Vigilance (the two-handed variant) to finish The Mother off with a one-handed blade, just to look cool

I don't know if it did this for anybody else, but I got the stabbing scene twice. It was replayed after the epilogue. So I stabbed her 4 times!!!!1!!!

That didn't happen with me, but there have been a bunch of other people who've had that happen. My screen blacks out in the middle of the conversation with the Architect though.

Yeah, I was expecting a standard melee death blow animation, and was pleasantly surprised when my mage sheathed Vigilance and instead blasted the Mother with elemental goodness, and by goodness I mean magical fury.  That was quite awesome.  Definitely one of the coolest scenes in Awakening.

Not really a scene, but i ran into some random rat in a corner of a room at the inn and it frickin exploded into a huge mass of blood and guts.

A total wtf-epic moment.

The randomly exploding ferrets and monsters. Also, Oghren's opening when you see him. He grins, waves, and goes back to slaughtering darkspawn. It's hilarious.

Someone needs to post the lava Steafan kick on youtube. Seriously. I didn't play through on a character that would actually do that. I want to see it something awful now.

I absolutely second Roundcrow and Goofygoff: Loghain's sexyness while leaning to a pillar....Loghain's smile too. That was hot!

Next chapter: Run to Orlais to help Loghain as some weird things are happening there!
