Trying to get a sense of what peoples' LEAST favorite female voice soundset is because I'm thinking of creating a mod to replace a soundset and I would prefer to create one that is needed/wanted.

The choices, in case you don't remember, are:
Wise - human/elf/dwarf
cocky - elf/dwarf
Experienced - human/elf/dwarf
Mystical - human/elf
Smart - dwarf
Sultry - human/elf/dwarf
Violent - human/elf/dwarf


If you hate Violent because of the "ladder" comment, but you like the rest of it, just download this mod from Dragon Age Nexus and that will be fixed:  http://www.dragonage...file.php?id=867

If, however, there is a whole voiceset you would like replaced, let me know!  Has to be female since I am.  Remember that, in most cases, an elf soundset is not the same voice as a human soundset or dwarf so please mention the race as well.

violent is the only one I can actually tolerate. sultry is more bimbo to me, so that's my vote to replace I guess.

most of my experience is on elves, so keep that in mind.

Just keep in mind there's a different soundset for each race, so if one doesn't like, say, the sultry elf voice, one might still like the sultry dwarf.

Anyway, I can't really comment. I don't think I feel particularly strongly about any of the soundsets one way or another.

Human Female Noble works well with the Experienced voice, it's more....queen like. And I can actually imagine Bossing Alistar around with it.

There's one phrase that drives me crazy. It's part of the violent set. "Shall I get you a ladder so you can get off my back". It was cute the first couple of times I heard it, but by the end of the game I was ready to pull my hair out. The other sets aren't nearly that annoying.

Yeah, the violent human female one is really annoying she just whines constantly. OTOH I thought the 'Sultry' one was hilarious. Some of her comments are comedy gold. "Does anyone have some blood I can borrow?"

Ditto.  I found that set annoying as it sounded more like whining than Violent.  I'm using the cocky voice set now and it is much preferred.  After she gets up from being unconscious:  "Did I beat them in my sleep?!  I am awsome!"

If the ladder comment is the only thing you don't like about the Violent voiceset, you can fix that by downloading this mod from Dragon Age Nexus.

But, what I plan to do is replace and *entire* voiceset. So, if there is one that you just never use because it's lame, annoying, etc... tell me and I will replace that one. I want to replace one that people don't use or really don't like.

Has to be the violent voice with the ladder comment for me too. Mainly because my violent character was a dwarf and I wanted to scream "why would I need the ladder for" back at her. Otherwise I find the sultry voice most annoying for all races/genders.

sorta tempted to see if that voice really works on a cousland girl. hmm...

I don't think they do because when making my noble that's what I wanted to use, but there wasn't one... ?! So I'm using wise instead. 

I like all the voices, if I had to pick one I never use it's the violent one because of the ladder comment..

The ladder comment in the Violent voiceset is easily fixed so I'm leaning towards replacing Sultry. Several people seem to dislike the bimbo-ness of that voice. I'll give it another couple of days though for feedback before I start recoerding.
