I don't like any of them - it's one of the reasons I prefer to play males. I'm a Londoner and have, I suppose, a fairly deep voice, so I find these shrill American (or Canadian?) accents annoying.

Most of the human voices have British accents, no?  I thought the Violent voice (including everyone's favorite ladder line, which I get a kick out of personally) perfectly suited my conception of my first HNF as a prissy English-rose type.

The elves seem to be all North American accents.

Yeah, the humans have British accents. I chose Violent once, but I hated sounding like Anora more than I hated the ladder line. I enjoy the phrases and attitude a lot, though. I usually choose Wise even though it's boring, because I like the pitch and the random, hushed "Nooooo......" she'll say during battle.

My least favorite would have to be the sultry human. It just doesn't work for me on any level.

I love the Violent voiceset. My main PC has that voiceset and it's perfect for her.

Aside from ladders, of course.

Something about the mystic ones are just too high pitched for me.

I recently picked the violent one, and it's cool, but the ladder comment gets old quick.

I actually really like the violent dwarven female one..

Same. That had to be my favorite voice soundset in the game; though I'll admit that all the other variations of that particular set were terrible for the most part.
The one that I universally cannot stand however, is the sultry voiceset... Just... Ew... And even though one of the sultry voices doesn't sound bad in particular, the lines for it just make me want to commit infanticide.

The violent one works really well for a Dwarven commoner. But the human one just sounds far too much like Anora. I can't actually bring myself to use it on a character.

The sultry one tends to be my generic standby in most cases, unless I have a particular voice in mind for the character. Some of the sultry ones aren't bad though. But some of them just sound.. Bleh. It depends on the race I think. It's partially force of habit to pick sultry voice sets for my characters though.(I think the only voiceset I've really used in NWN is the seductive one.)

The cocky one never fails to amuse me though. "No no. Let's not, and say we did."

Perfect for a rogue of any kind.

You might be right, SF - been a while since I rolled a female. I still find them too high pitched, though.

The cocky girl elf one makes me want to side with the Darkspawn.

Sounds like so far Sultry is the least favorite due to the bimbo-ness. So, I'm leaning towards that one. Violent can be fixed by editing out the "ladder" comment as I showed so I'll leave that one alone.
