What do Turians resemble here on earth? Is it birds or reptiles or both?
Birds and theropods... well technically birds are theropods.

Well here on earth anyway, the male gender of most animals is the most colorful & attractive. The females are more bland. That certainly is the case for birds. Turians are a little on the ugly side to me personally lol. So if they created females, what does that mean? They would probably be a littler smaller and a little more bland. I don't know how you would make Turians more bland though. They are just GREY! lolSolomen wrote...

I really hope they won't have boobs. We've already got two 'funny-colored humans' alien females. My own idea is that female turians actually have thicker waists than males; makes sense for reproductive purposes. Also it would amuse the hell out of me if, for once, the male aliens were the shapely ones and the females were boxy. (not to mention I can't see how turians waists can get any thinner; some of the NPCs in casual wear look like they should break in half under the weight of their own sternums)
All we know about female turians is: if you're really drunk, the fringe looks like asari head-tentacles and the fringe and waist are important in attractiveness. Exactly how is uncertain. Can't be sure if Garrus's 'supportive' comment meant that turians preferred thicker waists or he was just floundering for something he hoped didn't insult her.

That is because of their sun. They evolved metallic scales to reflect radiation.
Ever notice that turians enjoy wearing colors that most male humans wouldnt be caught dead in
Male turians seem to find quarians, humans and asari attractive... One turian is trying to flirt with a quarian, another is checking out the asari stripper's frill, and then there is Garrus who risks toxic chirality to relieve some stress

Wrong protein chirality. Garrus and Tali are D-amino. Everybody else is L-amino.

Oh that is a shame. Well perhaps there is no hope of bringing back T-Rex then. So a Turian and a Quarian could have children together then?Solomen wrote...

The way I took it was that turian females have thinner waists, and that Garrus was struggling to find something nice to say about a human-sized waist.enormousmoonboots wrote...
In the books, Anderson says that turians remind him of the missing like between dinosaurs and birds. So yeah, both.

That is quite possibly the most disturbing thing I've seen on this forum after the Tali sex doll.

One their heads definitely don't fully look the same as a male turian. We can say turians look insect like, but like on earth have thicker skin like rhino's and elephants as an example to keep the hot sun from hurting them.
(If you don't believe me on the thick skin part of rhino's and elephants go look it up in an animal biology book.)
Anyway, other factors they are definitely a sort of mammal, because they give birth to their young through their bodies sense garrus can have sex with a human female. I don't think turians lay eggs.
All female mammals has some sort of breast, but to not make her look ugly, you could make a turian female waist a little bit curvier which would give her hips a little bit more shape of a female. Her legs would be the important factor. With the female you would want to straighten up the thigh bone more and maybe give her back a little more arch. It really would be very difficult.

Ok the deciding factors of a female turian:
1: Straighten the thigh legs a little.
2. Extend the waist a little as well.
3. extend her chest a little to add breasts, but they shouldn't be big.
4. For a female look give her a smaller type of head fringe as well. Instead of the large head piece make it a little smaller.
5. Garrus also says thighs. The thighs should look similar to quarins. This would make more sense and with a thicker stomach area it would work well.
