Hello, i don't know what got wrong, i just got Masse effect 2 ( no second hand!) and after my first instal i enteredt the redeem for cerberus network (i thought it would work like dragon age) but i was urprise i had to download the dlc from the internet page and not through the game.

So i close the web page because i though "ah, i'll check about that later, i want to play the game for now".

When after a few hour hours of game i deciced to download some content, i still have the web page asking me for a redeem code to acivate cerberus .... and when i enter again my code it says it's already used.

The first time i entered the code i cheched i was connected to my bioware account (i already have one account anyway).

What did i do wrong?

Did you entered the code in-game? if you did, just register your game with your serial here on the site and then go under Profile and check "Your registered game promotions"

If you've bought ME2 for Xbox 360 you should see the content labelled as Xbox 360 there and you can download it in game just logging with your profile (be sure that it's the SAME EA account that you use here too), esle if it's for PC, on that page you have the Download link on the right of each promotion and you just need to download and install them

But remember, register the game itself first! Atleast for me, with the PC Collector's Edition, just registering the game serial gave me automatically the Cerberus Netwok, but then I've registered also the code of the Cerberus Network card itself, just for the sake of it.

okay, i´ve got a similar problem, i´ve got a legit copy of the game (collectors edition and all that), registered my cerb code and game, then windows took a dump on me and i had to reinstall everything, now when i want to download dlc such as that new firewalker thing thats apparently out already it tries to make me buy a new code, which i outright refuse to do.



i can go on my profile here without problems, it displays the old dlc that i had and was able to dl again but when it comes to wanting anything new it tries to sell me silly outfits, bioware points or a new cerb code which is completely unneeded.



so, how do i go about getting my flying tank thing without having to resort to downloading it off some shady site due to this being a migrane?

correction, it apparently didnt register my game, and now when i try to register it (store bought at gamestop) it tells me to get lost and that it isnt a valid serial.

if someone could help with this i´d be very thankful,.

and to any bioware staff punks reading this one, i support the industry and dont mind paying for games but your anti piracy measures and such are more encouraging me to go and pirate stuff by now, all i´ve had is issues with your "register this, register that, do 50 different things to download this" whereas jacking a version somewhere tends to be absolutely smooth and simple. I dont pay 55 euro at gamestop for a migrane and a incredible ammount of hassle you know? Think of your customers and that comfort and ease of use tend to be a big factor in if people will buy things or go and jack them from somewhere shady.

I tried to register my Mass effect2 (PC)



But it says the code is invalide.

This is the same code you use to instal the game right?

I tried to use caps, space between 5 caract or " - " but nothing work. I got my game from amazon.co.uk yesterday and i bought it with dao_awakening, everything is working fine on dao (dlc).



But why the first time i used my redeem ceberus code i could access to the dlc and when i try to get back later it was not possible anymore... asking for a redeem code again

( i'm the only one using this computer, so it's not possible for the code to be registered with another account).

I purchased both Collector´s Editions of DA:O & ME2. No problem registering the games annd redeeming promo codes for DA:O.

However when I tried to redeem the codes for the Cerberus Network and the Collector´s weapon and armor the page said "unable to redeem code" I tried several times that day but the result was always the same.

Then I contacted EA Support explaining the problem and uploaded the pics of the Cerberus Network and the Collector´s weapons and armor cards.

In less than 24 hours a nice guy from EA gave me a new code for the Collector´s weapon and armor and manually linked my email address to the Cerberus Network. Problem solved.

I suggest to anyone having promo codes problems to contact EA support, they answer quickly and solve your problems.

Okay, i tried to register my dao games to check if i could (i already have all dlc) and, it says the serial is invalide...



Anyway, i found the Profile / regiter game promotion from the left option, and it seems i have acces to all the dlc (both dao and me2), i will try to instal them from here.

Somes news (in my case)

So, i downloaded 2 short dlc (armor and arc project) and instaled them.
When i launched the game, i had a message telling me that ceberus needed to be actived in order to use the dlc, and then when i closed the window, a new one opened asking my e-mail and password ... and everythings seems to work as intended now.

My bad, i didn't know the cerberus network was next to the menu (so thin i didn't pay attention),
I'm used to dao witch is really clear, you know what you can had, you can check what is currently installed, i was expecting the same things from me2.

well, this is the problem, i cant prove my game is legit as i have the same problem as the above person, it claims my serial is invalid, tried the same as them, caps on/off, spaces and - 's and so on, none of it worked, hence the frustration.

i´ll contact support i guess and see what they say, is just weird that it claims a serial off the back of my manual is invalid -.-

this is bull****, i just bought this game from gamestop today, installe dit, and went to get my cerberus and it said the code was already used....bull****!, i want what i paid for, not some lame excuse to rip me off for more money ( i refuse to pay for to get the content it claimed came with it)

I agree, just got this game for Christmas and I am pissed off that "the code has already been used". I know that the game is new and not used, and I even registered my game with no problems whatsoever. But now I have tried on both the Xbox, and on the website to use the code. I know I can call support, but seriously? Same thing happened to me with the classic Map Pack for GoW2. >

This is a problem you are going to have to take up with EA support on their forums. They are the ones who provide official support for the game. This is a forum where users can try to help each other out.



@Breezo: This is also the PC tech support forum, not the Xbox supoprt forum. Still doesnt change what I said about needing to contact EA about this problem though. In regards to it also happening on GoW2 map pack, I would have words with whomever you purchased it from.

When I started up my ME2, I entered my Cerberus code, everything was working. I redeemed my promo code, and registered my game. When I went back into ME2, it said I need to re-enter my Cerberus code and said it was already in use... by the account I was using.
