3 days of trying to get this wanking game back working. a while back i had to re-format my laptop, and i had a digital copy of the game. luckily i had kept the installer, from there so i re-installed the game, and it installs fine, but when i try to play it i get the message, "there is a problem with your games setup. Please reinstall your game"  ive reinstalled it till im blue in the face, ive tried manually installing it, ive tried every damn solution on this forum. and now im asking for what the hell can i do. <_<

Have you tried configuring it before playing it after you have installed it?

Have you tried installing with all services & start up programs off except Microsoft?

Redownloaded the installer?

3 times, just doing it again now for the fourth time

i had it working and completed the game, but i thought ifd re-install it and play from scratch, coz i obviously lost everything when i had to format my lappy. and i had bought the expansion

Try repairing it in the gameconfig after installing it.
