i got it downloaded.. i remember i got a error when i downloaded that a file in system 32 couldn't be changed...i clicked accidently so can't remember much... so when i try open the toolset this comes:

 Unable to connect to database.

Run the toolset config program and verify your settings or search the toolset wiki  :   http:\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\social.bioware.com/wiki/datoolset

I uninstalled the toolset and SQL but i got same error..

error when i downloaded that SQL :

Windows installer service cannot update the system file C:\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\WINDOWS\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\system32\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\msxm6r.dll because the file is protected by windows. You may need to update your operating system for this program to work correctly

btw i got  Microsoft .NET framework 3.0 service pack 2 &  NET framework 3.5 SP1[/b][/i]

I can't start the DAToolset either. Each time I do I get the following message: "Unable to connect to the database." I checked the Configuration setting for the Toolset, and it says it cannot locate the SQL.

I'm running Windows XP with SP3 installed.

You may need to update your operating system for this program to work correctly

if you copy and paste the error message you get when you try to install sql from the toolset setup and put it into google the first link will be a page with a solution

however, the solution is somewhat confusing and i have not gotten it to work

I had the same problem. I uninstalled the character creatopr. I uninstalled the toolset (telling it to uninstall everything when it prompts you about uninstalling sql). I then uninstalled everything that even had a mention of SQL2005 (both using the uninstall programs). I then installed the toolset and it worked for me.

Start....control panel.....add or remove programs...
A list of all the programs on your computer comes up.  I scrolled down, found the toolset and unisntalled it.  I scrolled down again and found anything to do with SQL and unistalled it if it would let me.  I then reinstalled the tooslet.
