I recently bought some Bioware points to acquire the Alternate Appearance Pack for ME2 when it becomes available.
However, I am very confused about the site theme and the acknowledgement email.
They both specifically refer to Dragon Age: Origins.
Shouldn't the site be non-specific, considering these points can be used for either ME2 or DAO?
DAO is probably a great game, but after experiencing the overload of fantasy mmos/games out there, I'm very anti-fantasy now.
I'd prefer not to have references to a game I'm not playing and never will play shoved in my face everytime I engage in a ME related action.
Confused about Bioware points and the store theme

I have noticed the same. Also does anyone know where I can check my Bioware points balance?

I have a similar question(s) so I'll post in this thread as well. I too want to buy the appearance pack and the new companion pack coming out soon for the X-Box. I bought BioWare points.
When I go through the cerberus network via the xbox it only refers to x-box points not BioWare points. Don't tell me I have to purchase X-box points for DLC for the x-box and BioWare points only for PC games.

Another similar question: What if I only want to buy one or two DLCs and would rather not buy any more points than I'll actually need? Is there no way to buy LESS than 400 points?

Hej
I'd like to buy the new ME2 update with Garrys - Thane & Zero
fore some of those ponts I was supposed to get when I registred my game ..... This is the first time I'll use those ponts, - but when I enter my site I don't have any - it say's I have 0 points. - why is that?
Hope someone can figure this out for me!

Wait, you're supposed to get free points when you register?

Yes as it says on this website:
http://social.biowar...r/dlcontent/en/
Some versions of Mass Effect 2 contain a redemption code to obtain Cerberus Network activation.
Connect now and receive bonus...
1200 BW Points | 1200 Microsoft Points
This site you connect too via the ME2 Upstart window on the Left site:
Play/Configure/Support/Documentation and Right site Uninstall/Website/Downloadable Content/Exit
Click Downloadable Content and you're at the site to register your redemption code and game
But I don't understand WHY I havent got those 1200 BW points when I enter my own personal site
it says 0 points.

That confused me at first, until I worked out what it meant.
It doesn't say it gives you 1200 points to register, it's telling you it costs 1200 points to register.
Using the social menu
Profile
> Add Bioware Points
Then click on Point Statement to see how many you have.
And sadly, you can't get less then 400 points.
However, I don't mind a little bit of an excess, because I'm assuming it will eventually get used on one ME DLC or another.
And no, you don't have to buy xBox points if you are running the PC version of the game.
That's how xBox owners get their DLCs, it's not for PC players.
