As for the mission themselves, there was only one I really enjoyed, it was the earthquake prone planet and you had to escape because Shepard activated the power generator and it caused a chain reaction, or somethin' like that. I think the Hammerhead really works when you go in one direction really really fast.

The HH appears to be a bit more fragile than the MAKO but I can at least justify that by saying things that fly can't weigh as much as things that don't. Combat in a fast agile craft like the HH feels not very fast or agile.
I'll wait and see how they HH is integrated into the DLC that actually costs money before I can say much more about it.

The level design is good but I wish there is more stories and dialogues in it. (When I read my journal I thought I would encounter that crazy scientis in ME1 again, sadly that didn't happen

Looks cool
I can use it to run stuff over
didn't feel like a massive waste of time @ only 30~ mins of playtime (if that)
free!
pretty decent appetizer, I'd at least consider buying HH DLC.
Bad things:
Far too short is an understatement
All I did was hold spacebar, press e, shoot some things, hold v, repeat
HH seems to be made of cardboard
It ended pretty abruptly.
Can't say I hated it, though it wasn't very good...

Just check out G4TV review/forums for example, the majority of the response to the Hammerhead is positive
with even some Mako hate.
g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/703427/The-Verdict-Mass-Effect-2---Firewalker-DLC-Pack.html these people know a good vehicle!
Gamecritics also praised it. www.gamecritics.com/brad-gallaway/mass-effect-2-firewalker-review
I hope BioWare doesn't just scrape this thing like the Mako.

Either way, I thought it was not that bad, it was 'short' but it was free, and it has future potential as well.

They are trying to sell us these things but they fail to realize that they really don't want to disappoint too many fans. Still....it's free content so no real complaints to speak of on my part. We'll see how Kasumi is.

The DLC in and of itself isn't bad at all but BioWare screwed up by advertising it as "5 missions" which immediately made us all expect quality half hour missions like the recruitment and the loyalty missions. If they simply left it as "a one hour DLC" it wouldn't have been so bad in terms of disappointment because it actually takes 30-45 minutes to complete.

I was expecting 'missions' like "Bring Down the Sky" with the Hammerhead's advertised five missions, but basically got the "Pinnacle Station" 'simulator levels' isntead. I'm just glad I didn't have to pay for this - that would've been the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back if it had been paid and this... boring. It didn't feel much like a hovertank, and unlike the Mako it didn't have the "We don't see it fly" excuse in the cutscenes, so watching it just drive around like a wheelless Mako (and nearly getting killed in a volcano because I couldn't make it jump out of the lava) was... not fun.
It really was disappointing, especially as I'd half-expected to be able to land with the thing, or to take it instead of the assault shuttle on missions, and not getting to drive it except on certain missions was a downer.

Bad wording here and there but you get the idea. Hopefully.
Oh, and I really enjoyed the Hammerhead pack. I just wish that the end of the artifact mission didnt have a collosi/prime or two.

Personally, I thought the DLC was ok considering its price tag. My only criticism is that the plot could have been executed much better. Five missions is a lot of time to spin a side story. But only three of the missions were directly linked to each other and of those, two were simple scavenger quests.
Instead the five missions should have been strung together into an overarching story. If that were done it could help alleviate the view of the DLC as "short" because the player would have something more concrete to follow from mission to mission.

well, its free, you cant except too much from a stuff that is free, if you want good quality you need to pay for it, and before anyone jumps to talk about Shale / Zaeed DLC, those were cutted from orginal game and were there allready out on release date.

To be honest I'm pretty tired of people saying "well it's free so don't expect anything great" It's seriously stupid. So what... BioWare should be known for having disappointing free content? No, that's why people point out what's disappointing, it's called feedback, and feedback is used to improve content

I'm tired of this answer too. People don't like the Hammerhead but say "wtf, it's free ?". Please, remember Cerberus Network is not a free gift. The fact that you get it free with a new game only means it's actually like it was part of the original game you paid 60 bucks.
So, I would advise you give your actual feeling rather the fanboyist "it's free".

47 % are disappointed (rating from D to F).
19% have a neutral feeling (rating : C)
35% enjoyed the DLC.
I'm quite sure it's the worst ME2 CN DLC so far.

I don't really care. The game was fun, hope ME3 was better, free DLC are a silly marketing ploy, except Zaeed....

Actually two very different games, but I agree. The Witcher 2 is my most anticipated game so far.
I regret that Bioware is being outperformed in RPG category by other companies. They used to be the best ...

Great driving mechanics
Good level design
OK story
What I really don't get is people complaining about free DLC...

All the missions where short but contained all that was required to learn how to use it when the longer mssions become available and I believe where designed with that in mind.
On what people have said so far I can agree with some but not others as i found myself becoming quite comfortable with controls by the 2nd mission and found them more intuative than the mako ever was ( and i could drive that really well).
I was not expecting a lot of interaction with the main storline in the free content but I think we will have paid content in the future that will and I personally have no problem with paying for missions as long as they have interesting storylines and unique dialogue.
My thoughts as asked.
