It's for a new game Mass Dragon Age: The New Beginning.



The plot follows Commander Shepard and his entire crew after a mass effect explosion propels the Normandy into the Dagon Age where it crashes near Orlais. The local Grey Wardens are assembled to investigate. Hilarity ensues.



That or an announcement that EA is taking over creative direction for BW and BW is being "repurposed" to tech R&D....

The announcement would land on March 29th......too close. Whatever they are going to say regardless of whether it's true/lie it will either apply to both ME2 and DAO or to neither and it's just some random new thing they just want everyone to know about.

Seeing how the counter's on ME2 & Dragon Age Origins website, it'd only make sense if the news involved Bioware, and detailed a new game they're releasing, or if they're announcing a joint preview for their next two upcoming games in the series, ME3 and DA:O 2

......or anything that has to do with both games. A new cross game DLC to motivate people who own DAO/ME2 but not both to buy the other and those who do own both to purchase DLC for one game that gives you stuff for the other game.

No, I'm not "just hater." (Great grammar, by the way.) JE was heavily flawed, even more so than ME.

Combat: You could shoot ice as a ranged attack or shoot fire as a ranged attack. You could punch in a couple different ways or kick at medium speed for melee. You could pull out a weapon for melee, of which there are only 3 kinds. You could transform for melee.

Notice anything? They're all aesthetically different, but they perform exactly the same. No depth whatsoever. And every single fight couple be won by hitting, flipping behind somebody, hitting, and flipping again. Or, you could just use a stunning support style and get the enemy in a cheap infinent combo.

The party system: In one word, "useless." After say, level 5, your party members do NOTHING. They don't level up. They have the same abilities the entire game and they have terrible AI. Once you got to more powerful enemies, your ally (And you can only have 1 guy with you at a time. LAME.) would die in all of 5 seconds, leaving you alone. And again, the party members look different, but perform exactly the same, aside from the alcohol throwing guy. No depth whatsoever.

And like I said earlier: Only 3 character models per gender to choose from. Need I say more?

Jade Empire was not a masterpiece in the slightest.
