FALSE STATEMEMENT ALERT. We have no Idea what the countdown is about.Darth_Trethon wrote...
Well we know for a fact it has to do with BOTH ME2 and DAO so all this talk about a countdown to some other games is senseless. My guess remains that it's a cross game DLC where if you buy something for one you get stuff in the other.....perhaps a two way thing....two DAO and ME2 simultaneous DLCs launch and each gives awesome stuff for the other game so the only way to have everything in either ME2 or DAO would be to buy both.

And why couldn't it be about a next gen game or something to do with TOR?

We know it's on both DAO and ME2 main pages and on NONE of the other BioWare pages related to other games or even on the generic BioWare home page that isn't tied to any particular game. Plus read Chris's post in this very thread and he is the one pointing out that the DAO page has this countdown too.
WHY wouldn't it be on the main BioWare home page if it was a new IP and only restricted to ME2 and DAO. Dream away but it is too obvious that BioWare has theoir hands full developing ME2 and DAO DLC and sequels as well as having their hands full with TOR so the chances of a new IP announcement or sequel announcement to anything other than DAO or ME2 are next to none.

Uh, it is on BioWare's main site.
Wasn't there the last time I checked but look where it is placed. DEAD in the Middle of ME2 and DAO related messages. There's not even a hint that anything else is going on. BioWare just got out of two intensive development cycles and are placing a VERY HEAVY(understatement of the century) focus on DLC and sequels for both of those IPs aas they are developing a new MMO while most of all the other recent MMOs fail.
Keep dreaming about other sequels for other games and new IPs but the fact is they won't happen for years to come. Maybe a while after the next DA game and ME3 and after TOR is out but nowhere in the next couple of years.
