At risk of repeating myself, just because the counters are both counting down to the same time, who says they're both counting down to the same thing?



Could it not be both an ME announcement AND a seperate DA announcement? Whether it's announcements of the sequels, or DLC packs, or something else completely...

I hope it is the announce date for ME3. I can't take another 3 years to get there because MS is working on the next gen xbox. Can't carry forward your savegame if its on the old platform.

All the games in the trilogy will be out on the 360.



But I'd love for Bioware to continue Mass Effect games on the 720 or whatever the hell they want to call it.

I guess I missed that then, I'll take your word for it. I hope it is a release date then, even though it will be a long way off yet it would be nice to have a rough idea of the release schedule. I think it's pretty safe to say it'll be to early for an exact release date at this point.

Alistair is to become a DLC squadmate in ME2.

Mordin is to become a DLC squadmate in DA:O.



Sadly, there are balance issues. Mordin can simply incinerate everyone in Dragon Age from distance, making the whole thing too easy. Whereas nobody will use Alistair in Mass Effect because he can be blasted down by Collectors and Geth before he ever reaches them with his lame-ass sword.



Still, nice try. I appreciate the effort, Bioware.

Whatever you, don't take Alistair with you on Tali's loyalty mission! He tries attacking one of the admirals, claiming that it's really Loghain in disguise - thankfully my Paragon score was high enough to talk some sense into him.

You would think BIoware would be a bit more suggestive in regards to their countdown timer and what it signifies? Granted its fun to guess but I'd be happier to know exactly what the countdown is for!

The countdown is counting down to a countdown for a countdown till a DLC with a helmet toggle.

The best bit is in Dragon Age though, when Mordin joins in with Leliana's song. The way she just stops and glares at him, and he just stutters to a halt is priceless. When Mordin just coughs after the awkward silence that follows... I almost cried laughing.

In my game, he asked her the same thing, and she took an Alistair doll and started poking it with needles and knives.

Alistair proceeded to hide behind Shepard.
