It will be the ultimate combination - Dragon Age meets Mass Effect.

While Shepard is flying through one of the relays, there's some crazy star explosion -he suddenly finds himself in Ferelden. There he helps the Grey Wardens to defeat some evil darkspawn thingamujiggy but in its final stand it warps back into the Mass Effect Universe.

A group of Grey Wardens (12 maybe, hey, it's been done before) come back with Shepard on his ship to help him defeat the darkspawn (not sure how they get back - haven't thought that far) and these Grey Wardens (think new squadmates) help Shepard finally defeat and destroy this Dark Spawn in the Mass Effect world.

But even though Shepard was able to come back to the Mass Effect Universe and bring the Grey Wardens with him they are not able to go back to Ferelden - the connection between universes has been broken. Thus, the Grey Wardens stick around and help you defeat the Reapers in ME3.

That will be the announcment - a Dragon Age/Mass Effect crossover expansion. It...will...be...epic!!!

Maybe it will just be an add-on for Dragon Age, so that every time you enter a shop, you hear "I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favourite store in Ferelden."

Speaking of BioWare, something mysterious is going on over there. A modest, understated grey countdown panel has appeared on the Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and main BioWare homepages. Apparently we can expect something in just under six days... Hmmm!

You'd expect from the placement that it must have something to do with one of the two named titles; after all, it makes no appearance on the Old Republic page. But why both? Are we talking crossovers? ... Would that be awesome?

Join me in staring at it in fascinated bemusement over here. "

I dont think they are going to announce a 9 month beta test. However it would be awesome to learn that SWtOR was moved to a 2010 release. I think they are going to announce their new MMO they have been keeping under wraps.

I would say it was that armor Mister Priestly mentioned (and was pictured) with the Arc Projector. But they wouldn't start a countdown for that.
