You see, i don't work, just go to the university (law school)

2th of november is a holiday here in Brazil, so i thought: why not to make the 3rd my Dragon Age holiday.

Heh well its released on a monday I think, which I work the afternoon but am free in the morning which gives me time to buy the game before its gone, and I am going to play it the entire evening, and I am always free on tuesday.



But here are some excuses for you guys though.



"The destinguished gentlemen and ladies of the Bioware Corporation have called upon me to take a look at their work, the evaluation will take a week since it must be done thoroughly."



"sorry I have promised to do some charity work this week."

(with you playing Dragon Age being the good cause, and the money you pay for the game being the charity for those poor people at Bioware. Ask Bioware employees for a picture where they look at the camera with puppy dog eyes.)

I took the 3rd and 4th off, I wanted to take off the whole week, but the following week is too busy for me to do that. I had originally taken off the whole week (last week) but then Bioware changed the release date. My boss hadn't updated her calendar and so she thought I was going to be out all last week and was confused about my presence. I do have a bunch of vacation to use up by the end of the year, however. Maybe I'll make it a 4-day week for the rest of the year.



Actually my lead just told me a funny story about how she called off work because she had just had her wisdom teeth and a root canal done and her face was swollen and bruised. At the time she worked at some medical company and it was domestic violence awareness week. She told her boss that she looked like she got smacked up and so should stay home lest she freak out all the co-werkers and people taking DV awareness classes.

I'm already taking off on the 9th and 10th for my birthday, and counting on receiving the game as a gift on the 7th so I'll have a 4 day weekend to either work through the addiction or become so hopelessly lost to it that I'll get nothing done when I go back to work 'cause it will be the only thing I can think about (I'm guessing the latter is most probable).
So anyway, thanks for the birthday gift Bioware! Nice timing

At first, an old friend of the familiy visited us. I thought it would be impolite to just leave. So I stayed at home, and we talked a lot. Time flew pretty fast.

When my brother and father were leaving for work, I was ready to go, too. But my father approached me and said, "No. Not this time, son." I was going like, huh? I can't just stay at home! But it didn't matter anyway because suddenly, our home was attacked! I don't even know who they were. Of course, I had to defend my family. Everything was burning and falling apart. All the screams. It was a huge massacre. In the end I had to flee, though. When the friend of my father said to me, "Come with me. You're not safe anymore.", I immediately knew this is something serious. He's probably a special agent.

Now we're going to save the nation, boss. Surely you understand ...
