Luckily for me, and by total fluke DA:O comes out on my first day off on a 6 day off rotation (I work as a paramedic in Canada and I got lucky with the scheduling) No excuses for me. Just need one for the girlfriend

I'm simply taking a vacation day. But the key is on November 4th not the third. That way I can have the game installed and play all night on Nov. 3rd and during the day in the 4th. This means that others will be playing for about 7 hours before I start but it is better then being able to stay up late on the 2nd with no game to play.

Comes out Nov 6th here in the UK. I'm in Year 10 (We have less school years than USA , this is basically second to last year) and since Nov 6th is a Friday i'l have to whole weekend and night to play, i'l zoom down the road from my school, running out of my class >_<.

The whole state of Victoria in Australia is taking the day off, public holiday.
How do you like that a public holiday for the release of Dragon Age... and some yearly horse race thing~

I actually pulled that one in school, somewhat modified, for World of Warcraft back when it was new. I'm going on a journey. To Azeroth. And then pulled a fast one when they started asking me where it was and what I was going to do there.

People, just tell your bosses that you're going to Ferelden to see the sights.

Yeah. It's
totally a public holiday for Dragon Age. The fact that it coincides
with the annual horse race is just some kind of wierd coincidence.

Teacher makes a quick search on a website to pre-order games, movies and such.

Teacher: "Oh, it's THAT game. Haha, so you have the hype for it."

Me: "Hahaha, pretty much, yes."

The Teacher reaches his hand.

Teacher: "Then good luck to you then. Give those bastard Darkspawns Hell, you hear?!"

I accept the hand, shakes it and nods.

Me: "You damn bet I will."

just tell them u got that new disease thats been going around,
where u can´t eat like normal people,
