Sh!t guys. That stuff is FREE DLC.
Why always complain?

Yes, the missions are short and the battles are too easy if you just stay far away enough, but speeding around with that thingy is tons of fun. If they're going to release further missions for it, it's a fine addition (and it looks really cool in the cargo hold) to my Normandy. If they're developping full long missions, I'll gladly even pay for them.

And with the Hammerheads flexibility it's much more fun to cruise around then the mako. I'd even like to doo mako style planet missions with that thing, since steep terrain doesn't matter anymore.

Like i Said i never changed the keyboard mapping of Mass Effect 2, i played it all the time with default settings. And i did read it when the patch notes came out. And remembered it when the Tutorial say wrong keys. But i repeat it again i never changed my key bindings ...

Doesn't matter.

If I order a sandwich with banana peppers on the ingredient list, but the store says, "Sorry, we don't have any at the moment, but we're getting a truck sending them now so we'll be right out with them on the side for no charge."

And I get some lame minced soggy and tasteless peppers, something's wrong.

The point being, EVERYTHING CAN BE CRITICIZED.

Free or not.

There in lies the problem. They changed the default keys when they released the patch, but to see the effects of the change, you need to reset your keys to default. If you do that now, the tutorial will make sense. That's what I had to do, and I'd never changed the key bindings myself.

I can't say it was very impressive either. It was the mako - 90degree climbs + megaman ice world sliding platforming.

What, should I have used chocolate bars instead?

The Hammerhead was supposed to be in the main game.

They took it out and released it for free, thank God for Bioware.

But if it sucks, they should know.

And correct the issue later when we get more DLC.

Criticism HELPS, if you didn't know.

Yeah, but by the time you get those peppers, you've already eaten the sandwich. If you want another sandwich to put the peppers on, you have to buy it again anyway. You don't have to pay BioWare extra to play ME2 a second time.

To use a better food analogy: It doesn't matter what the cut of beef, Free Steak, is Free Steak.

Not if that free steak tastes like utter shi'ite.

I quite enjoyed this DLC, it was a welcome alternative from the usual N7 missions.

What also was strange:
In the Volcano mission there is at the place where you start an invisible targetable object what was named M-44 if i remember it right. Didn't fiind out what to do or if i could do something with it.

The best thing in the DLC is the Biotic Damage boost in my eyes :P as i'm playing an Adept ^_^

Yes, I also noticed the M-44 object. Maybe something the devs forgot to cut.

Since its called the M-44 Hammerhead, I think we where supposed to be able to exit the vehicle early on, but it got cut somehow. Would have been nice to snipe the geath, or at least have a barricade you cant jump over, that you have to manually open via a console somewhere.:wizard:

Hell, I liked it. It basically just showed what the vehicle could do, nothing more. It was a nice change of pace instead of running around and covering every sub 5 seconds.

I'll probably end up liking it just for being different.

Add some pacing.

Out of curiosity, I looked up the Files in the DLC Folder and saw it was named "DLC_UNC_Hammer01". Based on that I am pretty sure we will get some more missions with it later on. Thinking about it, it does make sense. They have some serious Missions in preparations right now, but want to know if people like the Hammerhead in general. regardless of the missions which came with the "demo".

Based on that, they might decide if they drop it, or continue. I really hope its the latter.

1. It's free.

2. There will be more dlc missions for the Hammerhead, i think the main part of the Firewalker pack was just to get the Hammerhead and the 5 missions are for us to use it while we wait for more bigger better missions. You wouldnt want the Hammerhead and not be able to use it yet would'nt you?

This was simply meant to add in to the overall replayability of the game. It's not meant to be an expansion. It's not meant to act as a what we'd get with paid DLC. This is free extra stuff. Stop whining. It's more stuff to do in an already great game.

More missions won't change the Hammerhead's fundamental flaws including no HUD, and simplistic, unsatisfying combat.

And somebody tell me why a hover tank can't hover over an acid lake?

Ok, I've said that already in some other thread. The ship is nice and all that flying around is ok but the content itself is borring and lack of ability to save just pisses me off

I genuinely enjoyed the DLC. I thought the Hammerhead was fantastic. The level designs were diverse. Sure, there wasn't a /ton/ of story, but between the datapads and emails I found there to be sufficient reason to be doing the missions.

It was another hour and a half of my favourite game, and I got it for free. Absolutely no complaints here.

Is Dr. Cayce the whacked out scientist you can punch in ME1?
