Isn't that guy in ME1 called Manuel "Goodnight Manuel"

Yeah, you're correct.  I guess the Eden Prime reference just made me think of him for some reason.
Me and my ill placed desire for continuity...

I call BS.  My keymapping has been default since day one and the keys on the tutorial were still wrong.

Yeah had a problem with being told the wrong keybindings by the tutorial as well.
It added about five minutes of free content before figuring it out! Bit snarky but I think the DLC's okay.

Not sure how one can make challenging mixed content, shoreparty combat and hovertank combat combined that is, for any future DLCs since this "rover" as it's called seems to be capable of flight :)

Well I am glad I did not pay for this as an extra. Considering that it was touted as being the replacement for the MAKO it really did not make the cut. Its not bad but still is a long way from being good. As someone said above for a tank that supposedly can hover why in heck does it burst into flames over water or even the lava. Even the description says it can cross water yet in a mission it cannot?

Oh and did the pack sneak in a few other things? Seems to me that there is now a fuel depot in The Citadel system. A new system in the Tuchanka area (and some interesting info on one of the planets there). It also seems to have taken away my custom casual outifits I had :( Oh well. I would grade this as a C+. Needs improving in many ways.

There were several things I didn't enjoy about the Firewalker DLC. It was fun, but one thing bothered me. Combat was too easy. Aside from the final mission in the string where rocket drones would close in on you, most of the fighting involved standing still out of range from Geth weaponry while you bombarded them with missiles.

And on a side note, everyone is entitled to constructive criticism. That is how people, especially those in a business that relies upon appeasing consumers, learn to improve their work. Any argument saying otherwise is a fairly ignorant action. The DLC was free, which was cool, though that doesn't magically negate any problems I see with said DLC. Though there is a difference between complaining and constructive criticism, of course.

I believe Cayce is the same as the guy from ME, his first name is in fact Manuel.

But, it'll be interesting to see where things go with the Hammerhead. Combat was certainly too easy, and there are some improvements that could be made for it, but as a whole, I could see it being useful for future story-related DLC. Woulda been much better if the relic at the end had been more in line with the last gigantic silver sphere of a Prothean artifact that Shep stumbled across.

Also, agreed with Angry about not being able to hover over the lakes. Or the lava. Firewalker doesn't make much sense when it can only hover over solid ground.

The Hammerhead is a ****, after a few shots on casual it is near death. I miss the old reliable Mako.

As a free DLC it's a fun way to kill about an hour. If this thing gets incorporated into ME3, however, there are several things that need to be fixed.

1. Health Bar!  Many have said it, I'll say it again.  Does this thing have shields?
2. Need to have the ability to AIM this thing and a scope site (ala the MAKO) would be nice.
3. Being able to save a game while in the Hammerhead would be nice.  Power Outages and all. *wink* *wink*
4. Instead or just having to hide from the enemy, I'd like a repair option, at the cost of credits and possibly resources.  Hiding should still be an option.

I'm not going to comment on the mission as that is really seperate from the vehicle itself.

All that criticism aside, I did have a bit of fun w/ the Hammerhead.  I especially enjoyed the ability to really pick up speed.  The ramp and speeding through some of the tighter corners were my favorite part.  Good job on that.

The keymappings is a big nasty bug.

Even if your controls are default, you have to go into the options and "reset" them back to default in order to use the Hammerhead's controls as stated in the tutorial.

Not a great showing, guys. But the tank's fun, at least :)

Perhaps it's just me, though I'm thinking one of the planets in a new cluster of the Tuchanka System may be used for future DLC. Toward the East-Southeast area in the new cluster, there is a planet with about 5 moons surrounding it (I'm not sure of the name). Each and every time you travel over one with the Normandy, you hear the slight beeping/humming noise as if you can explore them, like any other planet. As interesting as it is, it serves no purpose, but the beeping/humming noise is existent.

I agree with him.  We need the Mako with the Hammerhead's maneuverability!

So The Hammerhead is the successor to the Mako tank. Who decided the best way to upgrade a tank is to make it hover and remove the machine gun?

The maneuverability alone makes the Hammerhead leaps and bounds better than the Mako. The Mako moved like a dry turd and was even worse on hills and mountains. The Hammerhead drives perfect.

I am too.  My Hammerhead seemed to enjoy having seizures and chucking my crew into acid water when attempting to use that gather research/minerals button.

Why should there be a repair option? The healing recharge time is fast unlike the MAKO which was ****** poor. No point for a repair option or a health bar.It makes a beeping noise when it;'s sheilds get damaged and when it's down, the Hammerhead goes on fire as it takes more damage. i had no problems, I only died once with the Hammerhead because I fell into lava.....

While I thought that was a retarded feature as well, it's not hard to keep it steady. I got everything I could and was never thrown into the lava or acid.

I am really disapointed by the Firewalker DLC. There are a couple of reasons why:

1) The Missions are so damn short. None took me longer than 10min max!
show me any sidemission that takes longer
2) You choose on every mission 2 Team Members but can only leave the vehicle on 2 missions for max 2min.
It is kinda strange but what does it have to do with anything?
3) When you try to land on geometry that you should land on you just fall through it or you fly against invisible walls.
happened only once for me, but yes, you are correct, locations are not infinite.
4) Aiming is just silly. You aim at enemy but the rockets fly actually to another enemy. Sometimes they seem to doesn't hit at all
kinda, true and true.
5) Fighting exept for the last mission is boring.
it wasn't for me.
Geth with their laser weapons hit you everytime doesn't matter what you do. So the only thing you can do is stay out of their attack range and kill them with your more or less auto aiming rockets.
not true, and just false
Fighting in the last mission is a bit more fun since you're only fighting rocket drones, you can and have to avoid their rockets. Put them popping out from everywhere and on places you've been before several times is just anoying.

6) You got no health bar or anything like this. The ships just gettin more and more wrecked and a sound is warning you that you're close to destruction. A healthbar would be really nice.
true.
7) In the first mission you get a Tutorial explaining you how to use the ship. But every button they tell you to press is actually wrong. Left Shift for jump and Right Click to Research. I never ever changed the Keybindings of Mass Effect 2. When i checked the control settings it was "E" for jump and "V" for mining what was the researching the tutorial told me about.
true. i learned to completely ignore tutorials after i learned that they ignore user key bindings.
8) The DLC end isnt really well made. You get no new missions no character telling you that the firewalker could be usefull later but that there are no new missions currently etc.
ahem... what? no new missions? o_0
9) could continue but i won't :P
please, do.
Don't get me wrong it was fun for about 1 hour crusin aroung with the firewalker but i'm glad i didn't have to pay for this DLC, i was really disappointed.
I don't know what's to be disappointed about... that you had 1h of fun for free? It's not like 1h of fun is given for free every day you know?

Don't get me wrong I DO see flaws with firewalker DLC but it wasn't a disappointment for me. If something is given for free it won't be highest quality possible. I had (still having actually) lotta fun with hammerhead, it's a pretty neat relax-and-enjoy part for future playthroughs.

Maybe, maybe not.  After having to restart that entire mission twice from it, I deemed the content not worth my time.  Deleted it off my already limited HDD.
