First the mandatory server crash every time something new is available, then I see the eligibility.

FAIL!

Ah, WTF.

"exception of residents of Florida and New York"

Guess I'm out too. What does Bio have against Floridians?

Very disapointed with the news. It would have been awesome if people outside the US could enter too. Oh well, good luck to the American fans =]

For the first time in my life, the phrase "screw you, bioware" has just come out of me.

I love you guys/girls/other and I know that you're probably as annoyed at the restriction as we people who don't live on planet america are but there's no way of hiding my immense disappointment.

I'd quote myself saying how lame this announcement would be, but I am to lazy to find my post.

So... this whole countdown was basically completely useless for us non-US residents? Sigh.

I understand the reasons that they have to limit it to USA but seriously, quit calling it a community event when it's anything but... One country on the planet doesn't constitute your community.

 I missed this! You know, I was about to comment on my friends feed how lame I thought it was that BioWare fans outside the United States were excluded. Several people on my friends list, and my closest RL friend lives in a European country. I was planning on not participating. Partly because I feel it's extremely lame to exclude whole regions, but also a lack of interest in wanting to follow tweets or jump through hoops for knick knacks. Then I read chiliztri's post and double checked the eligibility rules, and I can't help find it hilarious. Ah well, I rather use my free time more productively. :P

"To show our appreciation of fan support and to celebrate the 15th anniversary of BioWare..."

I am a big fan of BioWare but what does it say when promotions and competitions exclude fans from everwhere that isn't the US?

I'm not too fussed for the bazaar itself but it seems to be sending out the wrong message to a lot of people who purchase the games and products.

No love for us Canucks, eh?

Btw that Bazaar thing has to be the lamest announcement I have ever seen. Congrats on screwing over all of your customers and fans who aren't from the "mighty" USA.

I'm more upset as I have adamantly refused to have anything to do with stuff like Twitter, and now to be part of the contest (which, honestly, is something of a let down for the suspense) I need a Twitter account.

Lame.

Why would a Canadian company include fellow Canucks in thier "celebration"?  That is just silly!

 We are both not included in this "Epic" community event! What does Bio have against us Floridians and New Yorkers?!

At least we can join all the other countries in anguish! :wizard:

It has something to do with your state laws. It is like Rhode Island. That state is regularly left out.

Ahhhhhhhh its good to live in the land of Mary.  (Maryland for those that did not get it)

Now that I can actually look at the BioWare page it involves using twitter and facebook. Two things I have always refused to do so as my Idol Bender would say "I'm boned"

What I'm really pissed off about is this ludicrous thing that we overseas customers cannot be given anything in any way it seems. It doesn't need to be physical (if there are legal issues, which I find hard to be believe when you see people ordering things from America to the rest of the world, with tax and all) but I sure as hell wouldn't say no to DLCs or some other digital content created for this purpose which can be directly bound to our Social Network account.
