I think I'm leaning towards an April Fools Joke. It's too close to April 1st to ignore.

My hope is a Jade Empire 2 announcement. Since that is as unlikely as it gets, I'm expecting something on a smaller scale like new DLC or DA2. Yes, I consider a DA2 announcement of less importance than revealing JE2 is in the works. The main reason being it's a given and would come as no surprise whatsoever.

Jade Empire was probably my least favorite Bioware game ever so a sequel wouldn't matter to me that much.



What would make me the most excited would be a Mass Effect 2 expansion pack.



Second best thing would be Dragon Age 2 or Dragon Age's next expansion pack.



Also, a new intellectual property would be fine too.

The most exciting thing for me would be a start to public testing for TOR, but seeing as the countdown isn't on the TOR site, that seems unlikely.

I think the fact that The Old Republic is still at least a year away makes any kind of public testing at this point doubtful.

I think an April Fool's joke that involves getting the hopes of your fan's up and then shattering that hope with some lame joke would be incredibly douchebag and below Bioware.

Well, I feel that way about Mass Effect and it has a sequel. Expansion packs... bleh. Give me Jade Empire 2 BioWare! Not that I expect that to happen. Anything short of that or a new franchise announcement isn't going to impress me.

I'm tending to doubt they would make a big deal of a Mac version of ME2. Plus, it likely wouldn't really be BioWare's announcement to make-- that would probably fall on whoever is doing the port. BioWare would probably give it a mention on the Mass Effect homepage, as they did with the Mac version of Dragon Age, but I don't see why they would drop hints about it days in advance. The Dragon Age Mac announcement kind of came out of nowhere, but who knows, eh?

At some point certainly, but before that they are going to be doing closed external testing, that's what the announcement would be for if it was that. Perhaps public was the wrong word, external would have been better.

Really guys, i've been playing 19 hours. And sudenly i'm finished WTF and that for a gigantic 39,99 euro's. it was nice to play Awakenings, but it is way to short. I expected it to last at least for another 20 or 30 hours. In all it was a wast of the money spend................
