Really guys, i've been playing 19 hours. And sudenly i'm finished WTF and that for a gigantic 39,99 euro's. it was nice to play Awakenings, but it is way to short. I expected it to last at least for another 20 or 30 hours. In all it was a wast of the money spend................

Kindest regards

Erwin

Another 20-30 hours from an expansion?

Enjoy your continual disappointment then.

Am I missing something? Did the snow globe have a little plaque on the bottom that said "Alistair Never Loved You"?

YES :crying:

On a more serious note, I really hope that this post is some kind of satire on the excessive complaining that goes on in game forums post release. Otherwise, I suggest some type of therapy for the OP.

I laughed harder at this than I think I should have.

Yeah...me too.  Oh well.

Edit: I forgot Silverite for the crayons.

And the same towards the Cailan action figure. :wizard:

I did too, laughed I mean.  Well, to the first part anyway. :innocent:  Someone should make that a sig bar which links back to this post... except all the Alistair haters would take it for serious and not as a joke.

Seriously, I thought the Snow Globe (right down to Anora and Caelin) was a nice touch (I used to collect them too) and Sigrun is such a magpie I thought this was perfect.

No, but I suspect many of his fans miss him and think you did a great job writing him. Posted Image

Seriously, I've never gone for a romance subplot in a game in my life (and I bet I've been gaming longer than most people on this board), but this one was magic, IMO.

Well, it's quoted now (though I should probably add a link). I'm a bad person.

Though it does look a tad awkward beneath the Tali-Garrus bar, though.

Deluxe Cailan and Kung-Fu Grip Action Ogre! Now you too can squeeze the life out of your sovereign lord!

Coming Soon - Duncan and Hurlock Alpha with Axe-Swinging Power Arm! Decapitation was never so much fun.

Now does Deluxe Cailan come in stone form?  Because we all know how Alistair *loves* a good Stone Warrior.

If I didn't already love you, that would have sealed the deal right there.

I have a feeling that he'd be uncomfortable with using a stone Cailan in such a mannor.  I mean, that's practically incest, kinda sorta.

Besides, stone couldn't squish and ooze red blood goo!

In my game, Alistair is king and my PC is queen. The snow globe contained figures of Cailan and Anora. I didn't see a problem with that. It's not like souveniers disappear when the time/event they commemorate ends.

Aha! I loved the snow globe. C'mon, OP, that was classic. Cailan and Anora kitsch! I want my coronation commemorative ashtray.

Now that I know it's for Sigrun, I'm enjoying imagining the PC telling her what went down with Cailan and Anora. It starts heart-warmingly enough with "Well, their fathers freed Ferelden together..." and ends with "...and then we executed her dad in front of her and locked her up in a tower. Good times!"

The one that sucked for me was the fact that I'M married to Anora, and now I'm carting around a little snowglobe of her and her dead ex.
