I didn't know you could flirt with him as a Mage (I knew about the HNF from my first run through at getting ALL the different convo options). What triggers the conversation?

As much fun as it is with Duncan nothing I have seen so far beats flirting with Teagan as a Mage.

I had that thought too, but I think the mage Duncan fools around with was named Vivian?  I don't know for sure, don't have my copy of The Calling handy.

OMG yes, you get all the usual options but you get an additional mage one I liked much better.

I didn't mean that you could. I was just being suggestive because people said that in the novels, Duncan enjoyed private time with some of the mages.


And with Teagan, I think you get an option along the lines of "But I'm a mage!". To which he responds with something along the lines of "Some things are worth fighting for."

HEAR THAT ALISTAIR? My mage is running off with Teagan.

Kinda sad, really. All of Commander Shepard's subordinates throw themselves at him, but as soon as the Warden becomes a commander, all nookie ceases. Even barmaids turn him down.

It goes something like this:



Teagan: what of you my lady? May I ask if you are married?

PC: I'm a mage.

Teagan: Mages can marry, or so I am told.

PC: Maybe if the man is brave enough

Teagan: I can think of many reasons a man would be so...brave...



(The way he says that last word as if OMG I can't believe I just SAID that! makes me think of the look on Alistair's face when he's doing the DR with Morrigan)

I completely  Teagan.  My favorite line is spoken by him (favorite cutscene) is in the first one just after you leave Flemeth's hut prior to Lothering where Teagan is giving Loghain what for.  I fell in love before I even knew he would have a larger role to play.  When I saw him in Redcliffe I blinked and looked again and flipped out!!

@casedawgz- Oh, I definitely noticed that one when Awakening came along. It's almost like killing the Archdemon took away his/her mojo or something. You'd think it'd be the exact opposite.



@sylvan- It's funny, I didn't recognize the one speaking out during Loghain's announcement was Teagan. I always thought it was just some random noble until much later in the game where I had to literally stop and think, "wait a minute... he sounds familiar" LOL. I feel stupid for missing it, really. 'xD

Noticed a continuity error with Teagan, actually. Eamon tells him to stay and guard Redcliffe when they go to save Denerim, but then he's there fighting when you kill the archdemon. I was all "what are YOU doing here?!"

Well he IS a bit of a rebel eh? Teagan would be a perfect romance option in the game.  Experienced enough to be mature and seasoned and young enough to be fun.  HEY! anyone got a Teagan mod I can download?

Yes, that does sound like a very... tasty combination for a man.<3 There aren't any Teagan mods that I know of, but knowing his fanbase, if you look around some I'm sure you'll find one. xD

I think it's dependent on Eamon going back to Redcliffe rather than staying in Denerim with Alistair. If he goes back, Teagan meets Kaitlyn. If he stays, he turns Redcliffe over to Teagan and Teagan doesn't meet or marry Kaitlyn.

I used to always do that too. But I like the ending better if you give them back the sword. Bevil ends up becoming an adventurer. It's cute.

Dang mine must have been buggy then.  I opted for Chancellor (making Eamon go back) but I never got a Teagan/Kaitlyn slide.  *Shakes fist at Bioware* I WANT my Teagan happy ending!! I got gypped!

Ooh, I never got those epilogue slides. Probably because I couldn't stomach giving away five sovereigns, and it was such a good piece of equipment at the time. But that's a very interesting bit of info... and somehow, not all that surprising. xD

That and I was a little jealous the first time I saw Kaitlyn marrying Teagan. That and disturbed. Since Kaitlyn is like.. 17 at the oldest when we meet her. And Teagan has to be at least 30.

I still wish there was comments about it from your party. I mean, here you are flirting with Teagan. And not even Alistair has anything to say about it?
