I still wish there was comments about it from your party. I mean, here you are flirting with Teagan. And not even Alistair has anything to say about it?

Even Alistair knows the Bannhammer is the better man.

And I thought Teagan would be around 40-ish at least, when considering Eamon and Rowan's ages.

I always give the girl in the Redcliffe chantry 5 sovreigns. She starts a business and ends up marrying Teagan.

I used to always do that too. But I like the ending better if you give them back the sword. Bevil ends up becoming an adventurer. It's cute. ^_^

...And you don't fantasize about Teagan at all, do you? Image IPB

That and I was a little jealous the first time I saw Kaitlyn marrying Teagan. That and disturbed. Since Kaitlyn is like.. 17 at the oldest when we meet her. And Teagan has to be at least 30.

I still wish there was comments about it from your party. I mean, here you are flirting with Teagan. And not even Alistair has anything to say about it?

LOL I know I always romance Alistair and usually at this point he has given my PC the rose and he just stands there like "Lalalalala not listening" while the PC flirts SHAMElessly with Bann Sexy.  I justify it in my mind that my PC is getting Teagan's mind off the horrors of whats happening even if for only a moment by doing something so silly and harmless.

I think Teagan is close to 30...isn't he quite a bit younger than Eamon?  He seems younger anyway.

No matter what I do I can't get that ending. Kaitlyn insists that needing the sword for one night to deal with the walking dead because you can't leave and go get better equipment means you need the sword forever and won't take it back.

I figure Teagan is somewhere between 30-45. But that's just me guessing. It's a bit big of an age gap either way, which is.. Rather disturbing, honestly.

I figure Eamon is about 60, and Rowan would be about 50 if she was still alive. But yes, there's obviously a large age gap between the siblings that never really made sense. Here's Eamon, who looks like he's elderly enough to have grandchildren. And here's his younger brother, who is all studly and flirting with your female PC.

I so can't imagine Alistair just standing there while Teagan flirts with a girl he likes. I can imagine him butting in, and saying something along the lines of "Yes, Bann Teagan. You're far too forward." then dragging the PC off, and kissing her or something.

You have to mention it before the battle, either to her or Bevin. There's the "About the sword" option, which leads to something like "I'll return it once the battle is over. It belongs with your family."

Eh, I'd put Eamon at late 40s/early 50s. Remember, life spans were quite a bit shorter in Medieval England (which is what Ferelden is based on).

Think I will try that my next playthrough seeing as how I DIDN'T get the slide I wanted.  The Bevin as a hero thing sounds cute.

I did but she still wouldn't take it. Odds on her being psychic and wanting to marry Teagan?

Damn I wanted him to have a happy ending with her on my Mage, what DID you do to get that epilogue slide?  I never got it though I gave her 5g for that crappy sword Image IPB

I think it's dependent on Eamon going back to Redcliffe rather than staying in Denerim with Alistair. If he goes back, Teagan meets Kaitlyn. If he stays, he turns Redcliffe over to Teagan and Teagan doesn't meet or marry Kaitlyn.

Hmm... that makes sense. And it sucks! I wanted Kaitlyn to marry Teagan, but I also had my HFN marry Alistair and become Queen. I guess the two are mutually exclusive :(

If you make yourself Chancellor, in addition to being queen, Eamon returns to Redcliffe and Teagan can have his happy ending.

That's weird. I've never made myself Chancellor. But Kaitlyn almost always ends up with Teagan in my epilogues.

Strange. I've only ever had Kaitlyn and Teagan end up together when I'm Chancellor or when I put Anora on the throne (and this was feeding her the 5 gold on a regular basis).

Of course, I now prefer to give the sword back to Bevin because he's one of my favorite NPC's and I like that he grows up to be an adventurer.

Well, maybe if Duncan were more responsive to flirting we'd talk about him more! >:U Old bugger had it coming.

See you later, if this thread holds out for that long. xD

But getting right back into topic, does anyone else find it funny how the voiceover notes say Duncan was flustered AND amused after getting propositioned? I can just imagine him thinking: "After all these years, I still got it? Duncan, you sexy beast." x'DD

Of course, even if my HNF was feeling amorous around Duncan in Highever, it wasn't exactly what she was thinking about him on the way to Ostagar...

It's so hard for me to think of Duncan being studly for some reason. He's just so.. Reserved and neutral in Origins. But that was hilarious.

He's pretty awesome in The Calling. I didn't see the appeal before I read the book (although the beard is about a perfect a statement of manliness as one can attain, I must admit).

Was anyone expecting the human noble's mom to ask what Iona or the red-headed guy was doing in there room?

"Mom, they killed Iona!"

"Oh my....wait a second, why was she in your quarters young man?"

"I..she was...watch out!"

Seeing how you can announce your evening plans to Fergus while your parents are standing right there, I don't think anyone in Castle Cousland cares what you get up to in your private chambers.

So, it wasn't just me . . . when my FEM escorted Duncan to his quarters, we had a conversation along the way about his opinions on mages and the Circle and whatnot. Got to know him better. Escorted him to his quarters and wanted to go further. Knowing what he was going to face, I wanted to send him off with some fond memories or at least a smile.

Having read "The Stolen Throne", it is confirmed that Teagan was 8 and Eamon was 15 during the events of the book, which ended right as the Dragon Age began (so around Dragon 9:00). Origins takes place at Dragon 9:30, so Teagan would be around 38 and Eamon 45-ish.

Noticed a continuity error with Teagan, actually. Eamon tells him to stay and guard Redcliffe when they go to save Denerim, but then he's there fighting when you kill the archdemon. I was all "what are YOU doing here?!"

Wait, he did? I know he hands control when he becomes King Alistair's advisor.
