In the forrest, can't seem to recruit or finder.  It seems I've triggered the cutscenes in a random order.

Anyone come across this and/or know of a fix?

Same here. i'm begining to wonder if there is not something fishy with all the quest triggers in my game as I also have a bug that prevents me from achieving quests at the keepeven though there are mapmarkers indicating that I am allowed to.

On my second play through. Everything went fine last week. Today? Bam. I was walking to the bridge and all of a sudden warped up to the Dalish camp and had the cutscene there.



Then I found her just standing out in the middle of no where, clickable but not talkable. Started to head to the zone exit and had one of the cutscenes trigger; now just wandering the map, can't get the joining cutscene active.



Grrrr, don't have a good save either.

Had the first cutscene with her, cannot find her to talk to her in the dalish camp afterwards. She will not spawn so I can't go on to mines. Bioware?

Having the exact same problem, as I accidentally walked past the first scavenger without initiating dialog, and got the sick scavenger first. Can't initiate dialog with keep quest people, either. Have done all the cutscenes, have the big map arrow at the Dalish Camp, but nothing happens when I get there. Can't progress at all.

I had the same issue. When I approached the bridge the cutscene with Velanna triggered, but when it was done I was at the Dalish camp instead of at the bridge. I've done all the other quests and killed all the other monsters in the Wending Wood, but can't get Velanna to spawn again. There is a quest arrow on the map at the Dalish camp, but there is nothing there to interact with regarding the quest.

I had this problem and I had to revert back to a save when I first entered map. Just save early and save often. Also if you jump to a cutscene without crossing that bridge or that cutscence plays 2+ just revert to earlier save,

I just abanonded the area, hoping that a patch will come out and rescue me. After I left, I did the chasm quests, which seemed to fix the broken interactions with the people in Vigil's Keep, but didn't fix the Velanna/Wending Wood glitch.

Well, I finished all other quests and cannot progress any further until this is resolved.



In the meantime, does anyone know a console command that can put Velanna in my party? Maybe I can trick the game into letting me into the mines.

I came up with a work around. As long as you seem to be near to camp, look online and enable the console commands. Then use the addpartymember for Velanna (this is gone into in great detail in many different websites, so I will not go into it here.)



After I added her to my party (I now had a total of 5 party members), I just clicked on her to initiate dialogue. It jumped to the next cutscene where she attacks. She is still in your party during that fight, but afterwards you get the dialogue sequence that progresses the plot, and (if you keep her in your party), you go back down to 4 party members.



I was able to enter the mines just fine after that. Fingers crossed on making sure nothing else remains broken.

I have tried this and it did not work for me. Nothing works. The game is at a stand still until I can get this fixed. The story will not progress, as I have done everything else. Getting support from Bioware is brutal!!

Bump. Having the same problem.



The number of bugs is getting pretty sad. Now its just unplayable. I'm stuck at the loading screen after Velanna's personal question random encounter.

I have same ****ing problem. no Velanna in Wending Wood. it's a desert. iam too far in the game to back up
