What did you think was the warmest and fuzziest part of Mass Effect 2?

That encounter with Wrex made me feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside.  Wrex seemed so apathetic and pessimistic in Mass Effect 1 that I did not expect to be greeted so warmly as a friend.
I think it shows that Wrex's adventures with Shepard changed him and motivated him to do something for the good of his people.

I would love to have a bromance with Wrex.

If I were gay I would love to get prison-scrogged by Wrex.

I'm almost afraid to say it, but I agree 100% with the Scrogmeister on this point... I get a little tear in my eye every time the big fella shakes Shep's hand.

I always love the line at the end of Tali's loyalty mission when Shepard tells her she deserved better than that treatment and she just says "I got better, Shepard. I got you."

I can't help but go "awwwwwwwww" every time.

Yeah, I think Tali's romance was very well developed.  Her opening up to you seems genuine.  It's a shame the scrog scene wasn't as steamy as Miranda's.

'No promises' line in Miranda's dialogue... very emotional and opening.

I'd agree there.

Also hugging Tali in her loyalty mission was very sweet. I think it was the surprise more than anything that made that moment so cool.

I am surprised the whole Tali fanbase hasn't jumped on this thread.

Wait-- What? Not that I'm complaining, but who are you and what have you done with the real Borschbeet? Oh, and whatever it is, thank you.

I think most of the buddy conversations with Garrus are pretty warm and fuzzy. I loved Garrus, he was pretty much like Mass Effect 2's version of Alistair. He's passionate, has a good sense of humor and is loyal to his friends.

Except he doesn't whine more than Carth. Garrus was a bro, too bad he always had those god damn calibrations.

having played throuh Mass Effect 2 a couple more times I have re-evaluated my views on Tali and have come to the conlusion that they were not fair.  I dismissed the Tali romance has nothing but fan service and even though it probably is just fan service I do nonetheless think that it was well developed now after having given it a fair chance.  I think Tali makes a good romance option since she has known Shepard for a while and has had plenty of times to develop her feelings.
Plus, the Mass Effect universe is one where interspecies romances are not necessarily taboo so it didn't feel completely akward.

I don't recall when or what that was. This is not my Miranda hatred bubbling up. I'm genuinely curious about it and would appreciate it if you would put that in context for me.

Moments with Tali are quite good, but I do give the warmest and fuzziest achievement to Wrex. I love him all the more when he grasps Shepard's arm and proclaims "Shepard! My friend!"

The warmest fuzziest moment I can think of was when I shot Conrad in the foot.

I didn't like Carth as much as Alistair or Garrus and don't think he had much in common with either of them.  Carth's constant suspicion and lack of trust was annoying.
Out of all the squadmates in Mass Effect 2, I felt that Garrus had the most in common with my Shepard.  He was like a fellow soldier who could relate with me on just about everything.

Meeting Wrex again.

Garrus headbump.

Grunt saying I am his battlemaster.

Tali giving Legion some data after paragoning the confrontation.

During the Miranda romance she asks Shepard to promise not to die, you can have him respond "You know it doesn't work like that, we could die tomorrow. If it's not worth it..." to which she replies, "No, it is." Then she hugs Shepard and says she'll be by when things are quiet. It's just a nice moment in their romance.

Oh yeah, almost forgot about the Tali and Legion confrontation. Seeing two enemies reconcile like that almost brought a tear of happiness to my eyes.

I think Legion giving a new perspective on the Geth was pretty interesting as well and not what I had expected.

I was totally thinking that Legion was a rare exception to an otherwise genocidal, malevolent species. Turns out, the majority of Geth are not evil at all.

Io, it's one of the romance dialogues. She get's very emotional and asks you to promise that you won't die. Dialogue goes something like this:

Shepard: I can't make that promise, but if it's not worth it...

Miranda: It's worth it.

My personal favorite is convincing Miranda to introduce herself to her sister.

That moment with Wrex was great. Kaidan, my "bro" tells me I'm a traitor, Liara is very strange, Anderson is also cold and Udina...well he's a jerk like always, moving on...and the Council, who I saved, totally stabs me in the back - with air quotes no less!

Wrex sees me, comes over and says, "Shepard, my friend." He doesn't care that I'm with Cerberus, he's just happy to see me, it was nice - the sign of a true friendship.

Hearing Miranda try to make me promise not to die totally reminded me of that scene from Team America where he says "I WILL NEVER DIE" after she says she'll sleep with him if he promises not to die.
