Smiles from Samara were some of my favorite moments in ME2. Weird, I know, but warmth from a woman as incorruptible and stoic as Samara are rare, poignant gifts.
Overall, though, the final romance scene with Jack was my favorite. Seeing her finally able to overcome her issues with trust and love to find comfort with Shepard made dealing with her often-abrasive personality more than worthwhile.

Also, his admission to Shepard (if you take him as LI) that he has had it rough, and just wants this one thing to go right. It's heartwarming to see him so vunerable. The wine and stripper music and compliments to her waist and hair are adoreable!
Pretty much all of Tali's feelings towards Shepard make you go 'awww'.
Drinking with Chackwas. Such a nice cameraderie moment.

Oh, but what about Mordin coming to terms with what he did on the STG Genophage missions - very powerful I thought, and very well acted. "Responsible, not Guilty!"
The voice acting and the music really make this game.
Right, time to pull out ME1 and go for a fifth playthrough of the two.

I don't recall when or what that was. This is not my Miranda hatred bubbling up. I'm genuinely curious about it and would appreciate it if you would put that in context for me.
During the Miranda romance she asks Shepard to promise not to die, you can have him respond "You know it doesn't work like that, we could die tomorrow. If it's not worth it..." to which she replies, "No, it is." Then she hugs Shepard and says she'll be by when things are quiet. It's just a nice moment in their romance.
Ah, ok thanks for that. I don't recall that conversation, but that's probably because I've only ever done the Miranda romance once and I was just going through the motions anyway. If I ever decide to do it again I'll pay attention and look for it.
As to the subject of the thread. My warm and fuzzy moment is pretty tame by comparison to most. It was when the Citadel gun shop owner (Turian) asked if he could persuade me to record an advertisement for him. My Shep goes "sure you can" which is exactly what my answer would have been in the same situation.
"Hey Shep, can I talk you into doing something for cold hard cash, or at least a good discount?" - random shop owner or smuggler
"Tell me what you're thinking." - My Shep
My renegade Shep is always willing to make a deal or at least talk about it.
EDIT: I did actually romance Miranda in one playthrough...

I didn't recruit Tali and sold Legion to Cerberus. I tried to play it as close to what I thought Miranda wanted and this is the result. Although she had second thoughts about handing the Collector base to TIM I'll save this for import into ME3 and see where it leads.

2) paragoning tali and legion's fight
3) paragoning the woman putting the thorian victims through tests
4) "i got better, Shepard, I got you." - Tali
5) I'm gonna get flak for this, but before it got old, Jacob bro-hugging me "I'm good Shepard..."

I found Grunt's loyalty mission quite touching. Also Jack's paragon romance (which i haven't played yet, only seen) is very sweet.

2. The conclusion of the romance with a dying man. "Thane... be alive with me tonight."
3. Going paragon with that employee of Baria Frontiers on Illium.
4. Miranda asking you not to die.
5. The Salarian and his Asari (step)daughter on Illium. Ending with him clearly going for a cheesy memento, and his daughter sincerely saying: "Mom will love it."

Shep: "Wait. You don't have to do this, Mordin. You're not a murderer."
Mordin: *deep breath* "No. Not a murderer. Thank you, Shepard."
The way Mordin said it made me a bit fuzzy.

I mentioned this on a different thread. For me, it's the most touching conversation in the entire game, and this is coming from a confirmed Talimancer.
My favorite line in that exchange is when she says "Dad, she'll remember you. I'll remember you. That's why I came on this trip."

Oh yeah, almost forgot about the Tali and Legion confrontation. Seeing two enemies reconcile like that almost brought a tear of happiness to my eyes.
I think Legion giving a new perspective on the Geth was pretty interesting as well and not what I had expected.
I was totally thinking that Legion was a rare exception to an otherwise genocidal, malevolent species. Turns out, the majority of Geth are not evil at all.
I'm expecting that to be a save import flag in ME3, and that it'll lead to full reconciliation between the two races.
...Hopefully you exonerated Tali in the process...
