True. In the same category: hugging Tali during her loyalty.

Some messages made me feel all warm and fuzzy, too. For example, the one from Talitha, the girl you can refrain from shooting herself in ME1, when you have the Colonist background. The same goes for the email you recieve after completing Jacobs loyalty mission. A girl named Leslie who wants to thank you for saving her and the others. She had lost the ability to write because of the toxic food, is currently in the process of relearning it and insisted on writing the email herself, instead of a doctor who offered to do it for her.

Garrus' romance was that moment for me. The best part is in between the headbump or when he reaches out for Shepard's arm.

As predictable as it is, hugging Tali during the loyalty mission was just a "d'awwwwwhhhh" moment for me.

I really liked this moment, but using this interrupt bypasses one of the most touching moments in the game, for me.  The dialog where Tali talks about what she wanted vs. what her father wanted.  It's not a warm and fuzzy moment but it did hit my square in the gut.

1. The dialogue with Dr. Chakwas.

2. When Samara smiles. It's not easy getting such a calm and collected woman to show some emotion and when she finally does I can't help, but smile myself.

3. When you ask Legion why he used a piece of N7 armor to repair himself and he says "No data available."

Shep hugging Tali during her loyalty mission.  Even if you're not pursuing her as a romance, that interrupt is required to not earn Heartless Bastard points.

She calms down a lot faster if you don't.

'No promises' line in Miranda's dialogue... very emotional and opening.

I don't recall when or what that was. This is not my Miranda hatred bubbling up. I'm genuinely curious about it and would appreciate it if you would put that in context for me.

Well midway into her romance Miranda asks Shepard to promise her that he won't die during the suicide mission. And Shepard can choose to either assure her and tell her "no promises". Either way her response look very sincere and genuine. Given that she didn't even expect herself to survive...

Collector base, the long walk. When Jack got to the door, turned around and killed every flipping thing behind her. It may not have been special for everyone, but considering my first playthrough I lost my favorite squadmate to the swarms it was unexpected to see Jack step up.

That one hit me too.  That wasn't just warm and fuzzy.  That was a Hero moment of pure pride for the brave girl.  Getting into my Sheps head for a moment, thats the sort of thing she's fighting for.

On Illium at the souvenir kiosk-
Salarian Stepdad: Can we get your mom something? Your dad used to.
Asari: ...This isn't a competition, dad.
Salarian Stepdad: You don't even remember him... And I'm almost 35.
Asari: Hey I remember him! ...And I want to remember you too.

It's so bittersweet. Kudos to Bioware for putting thought into such details.

I agree with most anything from tali loyalty mission from the hug to the last lines about her deserving better and her say she liked seeing you shout at the admirals.

Also liked Wrex not only him shouting shepard but the music cue in there from me1 was great and the talk about how you died with not having a redundant nervous system seems he was the only me 1 character who cared so that was great.

Also the thane romance got me I think it was so well done maybe it’s me being a girl but still gives me good feelings.

Sometimes, one just needs to weep, even if just for a few minutes.  That Shep just holds her and lets such a selfless hero as Tali just feel for herself makes it even more poignant.

A lot of my favorite moments have already been mentioned, including loyalty missions and ambient dialogs and e-mails.

Some moments are just visual as well. Thane smiling, for instance. He does that a lot. It's great to see characters open up to you.

Samara's loyalty mission. Whenever she spoke of her daughter.

I think all of the loyalty missions had touching moments. Some had fuzzy feelings, others didn't. There was also the cameos... so happy to see all of them. First time a sequel has succeeded so well at making cameos meaningful.

I agree with most of these. The trial on the Migrant Fleet in particular felt very personalised and I was surprised at the vehemence with which I was agreeing with my Shepard when he gave his tirade against the Board manipulating Tali's trial. A great bit of scripting that was very well acted out...

One of the most heart-warming moments of the game for me - that I don't think has been brought up yet - is the sequence with the Krogan reciting poetry to the Asari who runs the tourist shop on Ilium. He looked so confused and lovestruck that my heart went straight out to the guy, and the 'he said he didn't matter what colour our girls are' bit was a real 'awww' moment for me. I was delighted when I later found them on Tuchanka after I convinced the Asari to talk to him.

That encounter with Wrex made me feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside.  Wrex seemed so apathetic and pessimistic in Mass Effect 1 that I did not expect to be greeted so warmly as a friend.
I think it shows that Wrex's adventures with Shepard changed him and motivated him to do something for the good of his people.

I would love to have a bromance with Wrex.

When Jack comes to your cabin.  Hands down.  When she starts crying it melts my black lil' heart.  Every time.

Nothing like joking around with a good friend EVEN after he just had a 3rd of his face blown off. Now that is a damn fine feeling Posted Image
Though I wish the story board art with wrex emphatically happy picking up shep and giving him an epic bear hug  would have been how it happened in game. That would have been TOO awsome...but would that have made it even a little less wrexly...Idk  Posted Image

Dear lord this. The salarians are my favorites (after humans, of course). I always felt like we had more in common with them than the asari or salarians. But that was such a sad moment. It really made me slow down, stop running from mission to mission and think about things.

Also, the hugging made me feel good about myself.

Bah! This whole game was pretty much one warm and fuzzy moment for me...except for the parts that weren't warm and fuzzy. Yes, I should be going to bed soon, why do you ask?
