I tried all the sticked thread for fixing the old Misconfig Error but it seem this one is a different one this time around.

http://social.biowar...06/index/804361

If anyone has installed Firewalker DLC and Mass Effect 2 stop working please post here so we can collect informations in a single place.

Edit: Forget to say I am on Window XP service pack 3 and it worked prior to installing Firewalker DLC. I also had many DLC installed and this is the first time I had a problem with a DLC.

List of Installed DLC prior to Firewalker:
Sentry/Umbra/Recon Helmet
Inferno Armor
Collector Armor/Weapon
Incisor Rifle
Blood Dragon Armor
All Cerberus Network DLC except Firewalker

Hello,

Can you post the contents of EACore_App.ini here please? And a list of folder contents in \\Mass Effect 2\\Binaries\\

I'll try to reproduce this over here.

In the meantime, have you tried this? http://forums.impuls...page/2/#2518740

Impulse has a non-standard installation procedure so their files end up in a different place.

Just tried that for second install and that was the first thing I tried after the sticky awc.dll thread here on the first installation.

Finally got Mass Effect 2 to start running. I forget all about start the launcher only then run the EACoreServer.exe without clicking play. After making sure EACoreServer.exe is running in Window Task Manager click play. Seem like the config for my Mass Effect 2 Somehow fail to get EACoreServer to run.

The annoying part is having to do this each time I want to run Mass Effect 2.

Ok if thats working, then we have an idea of whats going on. Hopefully we can get something out in the near future so you and other users don't have to do this every time.

It has been 6 months since you posted any reason as why there has been no patch? I know it has been solved but still annoying and it doesn't make me want to play mass effect 2 again because only of this problem.
