I love all the the powers in the title but they are absolutly horrible. They have insanely long cooldowns and Fortification gets no research bonuses at all. I feel that these changes should be made:

All powers should never turn off until depleted
or
During the duration the Sheilds always come back to the boosted amount after depleted

Barrier
Heavy: 100% Sheilds for 60's + 5% Biotic Damage
Improved: 75% Sheilds for 60's + 15% Biotic Damage + 15% Biotic Power Effect Radius

Fortification
Heavy: 100% Sheilds for 60's + 5% Weapon Damage
Improved: 75% Sheilds for 60's + 15% Weapon Damage + 15% Combat Power Damage

Geth Sheild Boost
Heavy: 100% Sheilds for 60's + 5% Tech Damage
Improved: 75% Sheilds for 60's + 15% Tech Damage + 15% Tech Duration

These powers with these changes should not be stackable with Tech Armor.*

* I understand that this is unfair for Sentinels but I fail to see how else this would work. I guess having these work with TechArmor would be fine seeing as how the player would have to give up on another power for these ones.

Why the sentinel hate? You're proposing a buffing of these powers, which makes the sents tech armour not as unique/powerful as now, and then finish by saying it can't stack with tech armour?

I'm sorry, but unless the sentinel armour gets a buff or he gets a completely different unique ability, these will never be buffed as they are already so similar to tech armour.

Edit: I don't mean to be a complete downer, you've clearly put some thought into making these powers viable on insanity, and I like them taken by themselves. However, my point about the sentinel and tech armour still stands though.

Your suggestions are good, but I am pretty sure that they will never change or rebalance any game mechanics. Were balance changes ever made for mass effect 1?
