A lot of Liara fans do, but its not nice to say so.

Speak for your self, I was more connected to my Shepard and felt more like him in ME2 then in ME.
Huh?
Thats what I meant....... I felt more conected to ME2, since you really feel the development of Sheppards personality.....
I felt connected with shepard only a bit more in the first one, but I fel more connected with the the galaxy in the first game
Thats what I don't get, the Galaxy was more expanded in ME2. We learned more about Korgan, Quorien (spelling) Geth, Asari and Salarian culture in this game then the first one. I think the reason why you might feel more connected to ME was because it introduced you to the ME universe.

Then gues what, heres a solution. Bring back the game, leave these forums, go to the ME forums and talk about ME if you love it so much. The point that you said ME was better then ME2 means you think the gameplay was better and that shows you hate change.
I cant return a game for thinking it sucks, thats why I comment on the forums about how much I think it sucks. Its no different to booing a team who plays poorly. You cant get your money back when they put in a crap performance, so you have to let them know it.
Sorry if that hurts your butt, but thats not my problem.
Oh and I hate bad change. Improving the shooter element wasnt bad change. Making it the primary focus of the game was.

Damn, if we're talking about bringing back party members, where the hell was Jenkins this round?

The difference is that only a few have it so pronounced.

ME2s focus on shooter gameplay and cinematic conversations cant override my own view that in all the import areas, I consider ME1 the far superior game.
By comparison to ME1, ME2 was a ****** and mediocre shooter title.

I thought this was a feel of me1 v me2 thread for people to express their opinions? If other people feel me1 was better than so be it. i disagree, but let them have their opinion

How was it primary? The combat was changed to be a third person shooter, non combat is just like ME, and yes you can get your money back don't make excuses. ME gameplay was bad, very bad. Thats why Bioware redid the combat system. Don't like it, then play ME. You are a minority.

Theres a diffrence between giving good critisim and saying how BW can improve the game then outright bashing the game and complaining that it plays like a shooter, qouted from Christina Norman. "ME2 is a new RPG-Shooter. The problem with Me was that it played like a RPG but not a shooter so we needed to change that"

Following your analogy, you're essentially booing and hating on a team that you used to love because one of your favorite players was traded.Dinkamus_Littlelog wrote...

That doesn't make you a fan of the team, that just makes you a fanboy of the player/character.

Prepare to be disappointed again then, since Mass Effect 3 will be another "dumbed down shooter wannabe".Dinkamus_Littlelog wrote...
Dinkamus actually suffers from a "I think this game is a dumbed down shooter wannabe" syndrome. I thought Liaras role in ME2 sucked, for sure, but thats nowhere near all the problems I have with this game.
I know its easier for you to try and dismiss by fabricating crap, but you should know its a dismal failure.

If you cant accept how much the combat of ME2 has ruined other elements, like "hub worlds" becoming "shooter stage crossroads" thats your problem not mine.
There wasnt a single moment in ME2 where I could sit back and enjoy not having to worry about combat for a while, like there was on ME1.
Sooner or later it was back to ducking behind cover to whack a mole all over again.

Wow that is a wall of text. Now I know that the first comments on this thread(if there are any) will most likely be people who prefer ME2 just because of the imrpoved gunplay telling me to shut up, or that I'm whining, or whatever, I'm pretty sure someone will throw a waffle around too.
Anyway, there doesn't seem to a point in comparing Mass Effect 1 to Mass Effect 2 at this stage - Mass Effect 3's gameplay is going to be much more like Mass Effect 2 than 1 (not story-wise though), with a few RPG elements thrown in to make it a little less like a full third-person shooter.
haha that's awesome

Are you kidding me? ME2 had hub worlds! The wards, Tunchanka (spelling) Omega and Illuim where all hub worlds where you got missions and you did not fight in. Did you even play ME2?

I love ME2's gamplay, it's much more fluid this time. I'm already satisfied as far as roleplaying goes, I'm still able to roleplay as Shepard a great deal. Couldn't care less about min maxing.
Oh no doubt, ME2 took care of alot of techical issues in ME1 and the combat gameplay was much more fluid and enjoyale...albeit the powers were a bit disapointing

Followng your stupidity, you completely failed to comprehend my argument and like all ther other butthurtees around here, resorted to trying to dismiss as "hes pissed because Liara aint a squadmate".
Its funny that, because I have her in my sig, you chose to ignore my original statement which as someone pointed out, was about the FEEL of ME2.
Its clear you cant contest opinion, but are too much of a fanboy yourself to let the criticism go unchecked, and resort to ridiculous crud like this to try and contest it.

Yet you insult people and won't give good arguments why you hated ME2 then saying (a shooter wannabe" face it you are a troll and a hater.
